For one side, I agree that is the publishers choice to make these decisions, even if they aren't very smart which is this case. For the other side, if people like AngryJoe don't talk about this and enforce their points, Nintendo may never change their dumb policies. So I'm kinda in the fence here, but we can all agree that Nintendo is really greedy and should just stop with their nonsenses.

Let me guess... EA???

Yeah, they're pretty much spot on.
As they said, the policy is dumb as bricks, but it's still the official rule--and AngryJoe being a big crybaby about getting flagged for breaking those rules doesn't illicit much sympathy from me. They laid out the process they wanted Youtubers to follow and he ignored them, then pissed and whined about suffering the consequences.

This sums up my thoughts perfectly.

You are talking of a 0.000001% minority |
It seems you don t understand you tube and/or the topic-
MSFT recently bought Minecraft for $2.5 billion+/- One of the more signficant contributors to the tremendous growth of the Minecrafts communitty was, and still is You Tube. Often times the younger kids lke my soe and many of his freieds wathc Minecraft you tube videos for months before they even get the game- but they DO get the game- Obviously not ever game is Minecraft but the point is the gaming communitty on You tube is one of if not THE largest communitties (in terms of traffc) on You tube- The You tube gaming communitty does a huge service and is an important part of most games and consoles marketing attention-
I could go on you tube and find dozens, hundreds maybe more of you tubers doing Lets Plays , reviews, previews you name, etc of games
The amount and variety of You tube content for Nintenod games has and will become less and less in numbers, diversity and perspective-
Nintenod wil control or at least have the abilty to control the content oters release on you tube as it relates to Nintendo s games-
This will effect the cosumer period. More information and more transparency is always better for the consumer-
THe options offered by Nintendo for You tubers by nature contricts informaton and transparency
People should learn more about what the agreements that Nintenod are asking you tbers to sign actually say- Not just the 1 or 2 biggest bullet points but basic context of the wole agreement-
PS: No need for anyone to repeat: "Nintendo has the legal right to do what they are doing" most everyone knows this and few if anyone has disagreed with this fact-
RE AJ and others making the same point re Nintendo and you tube- Weather people like him/them or not is a completley seperate subject argumet and has NOTHING to do with the topic of NIntendo and You Tube- Why peole insist on mixing the 2 is beyond me- (OK I do understand that some are trying to make the messengers the argumetn in order to deflect that real debatable points of Nintendo/youtube- IE people trying to say you should not like AJ or other person therefore you should not like/agree with what they say - which is nothing more than someone saying they either cant defend their "side" of the debate or they think the other side has the stronger hand so they try to change the topic

All the companies are greedy. That's the point, Sony and Microsoft are not saints. But you talk like Nintendo is the greediest, based only on this YT program. And I agree, the program is wrong. But, well, I don't pay 50€ a year for playing online (and the online in the WiiU is not as bad as everyone thinks). And yes, you pay 50 bucks and they give you some games, but, Nintendo has given me for free 6 games for the WiiU/3DS, Super Smash Bros soundtrack, A Link Between Worlds soundtrack and more things I "bought" in Club Nintendo. And you don't pay 70€ when the game first comes out. I payed 35€ for Captain Toad, 40€ for Bayonetta 1 AND 2, 50€ for Smash Bros... I agree, they don't usually discount games, but, if you are a Nintendo fan (I am) you would probably buy a lot of them first day, and they are cheaper than the standard of the industry. They have made dumb decisions, and greedy decisions too, but they are as "evil" as the rest.

Cry ??? Joe made a lot money here, i say poor Nintendo. |
poor Nintendo? only internet youngsters think that Angry Joe is harming Nintendo. Bad PR for one or two weeks, that's it.
Joe is right, but was dumb for him to even try to air a second video after he knew the rules. Its as simple as that. You cannot screw with Nintendo's owned content. If they want to be stingy, thats cool, everyone else but Nintendo is cool with the presence of Youtube giving them free advertising so let them think they are untouchable.
