Saki my 3rd most requested character for SSB (after SSB4 release). Unfortunately he's an Assist Trophy. Isa is free but Saki is the poster boy of Sin+Punishment. It be like Matthew gets in instead of Isaac from golden sun.

That said i love me some Isa too XD

I would be equally proud for either. I only said Isa because S&P2 sold a good deal better than the original so Isa may have more awareness about him. Are either being mentioned in the official vote?

Yeap, i argue he is the 4th most important after King Dedede.

Any new characters will probably be clones of existing characters. For example, Bayonetta could be a clone of zero suit Samus and Wolf could be a clone of Fox (like in Brawl).

I suppose that King K Rool could be a clone of king Dedede, but I am not sure how that would work out.

Either is Sonic or Pac-Man. Plus Nintendo said non-Nintendo characters would be considered anyways. Also some of the people who made Okami are now PlatinumGames employees so maybe they will say something to Nintendo haha. Bayonetta would be cool but the attacking with hair and getting mostly naked thing doesn't seem to fit in well with the rest of Smash. I approve of King K. Rool, just sad that Ammy and Issun are getting no love :(

Well tbf S+P was a japanese only game and S+P2 sold a little better on the Wii and WW sales. Has probably more Western awareness but imo Saki>>>Isa.

No unfortunately not, I dont see Saki at all in top 20s even if i take out third party wanted characters. That could be because he is an assist trophy, Isa nowhere either.

 

That said, I hope to god Saki is in the next game. A Sword+Gunner Speed Fighter? HELLO? His sword is also a god damn lightsaber!!! I see him as a very light, weak character. But very fast and great range overall!

No way in hell is King K Rool going to be a clone off of anybody, especially Dedede. Unless you think they'll give him a random hammer and as Ammunition Kremlings? O.o

The only thing I could probably see both of them having in comon are maybe KKR throwing claptraps instead of spiky balls, but the way I imagine it, it would be closer to Bowser JR's down B... Also swallowing oponents but it would be more similar to Wario. I dont see any reasons why KDDD's upB could'nt apply for KKR but still...

KKR cant float and has no hammer. And hopefully they won't duplicate KDDD's fat and clumsy slow feeling that I have everytime I play him on KKR.

Sonic is indirectly linked to Nintendo forever just by being part of the first major console war. You cant talk about Nintendo history without eventually running into SEGA... like WWF vs WCW

Sonic has more than tripled the amount of exclusive content on Nintendo consoles than anywhere else

Sonic may even have more exclusive content on Nintendo consoles that than SEGA consoles. If not, very close.

Nintendo has all but excepted Sonic into the Nintendo club, with 2 appearances in Smash, Mario and Sonic series, DlC gear in MK8.

Take away the console war part; MegaMan and Pac Man have similar backgrounds.
