Either is Sonic or Pac-Man. Plus Nintendo said non-Nintendo characters would be considered anyways. Also some of the people who made Okami are now PlatinumGames employees so maybe they will say something to Nintendo haha. Bayonetta would be cool but the attacking with hair and getting mostly naked thing doesn't seem to fit in well with the rest of Smash. I approve of King K. Rool, just sad that Ammy and Issun are getting no love :(

Sonic is indirectly linked to Nintendo forever just by being part of the first major console war. You cant talk about Nintendo history without eventually running into SEGA... like WWF vs WCW

Sonic may even have more exclusive content on Nintendo consoles that than SEGA consoles. If not, very close.

Nintendo has all but excepted Sonic into the Nintendo club, with 2 appearances in Smash, Mario and Sonic series, DlC gear in MK8.

Take away the console war part; MegaMan and Pac Man have similar backgrounds.
