The only thing I could probably see both of them having in comon are maybe KKR throwing claptraps instead of spiky balls, but the way I imagine it, it would be closer to Bowser JR's down B... Also swallowing oponents but it would be more similar to Wario. I dont see any reasons why KDDD's upB could'nt apply for KKR but still...
KKR cant float and has no hammer. And hopefully they won't duplicate KDDD's fat and clumsy slow feeling that I have everytime I play him on KKR.
