Forums - Gaming - Battlefield Hardline More Popular On PS4 4X Active Players Than XB1, BF4 Still More Popular

Install base probably plays a minor part in this. Probably has to do with people owning both consoles buying the ps4 version to play with friends since I'm pretty sure this game is heavily multiplayer based.

Not surprising considering the difference in WW install base between the two.

Though it does blow a big hole in the common notion that the Xbox platform is the "shooterbox" platform. You can now add BF Hardline to the ever growing list of top selling shooters on the PS4.

The difference in install base is about 2x, not 4x, this is double what it should be.....

I don't understand this article. This is what p-stats shows from the last 24 hours.

ALSO, look at this website. http://battlefieldtracker.com/bfh/population?days=7

The active population disparity isn't nearly as big as these trackers show. I'm pretty sure this article is bullshit.

It's not even 2x when is prime time in Europe and it's almost 1:1 when is night in América.

How the hell did they pulled those numbers?

Also, aren't PS4 fans enjoying the perfection that is Bloodborn?

Every gamer does not play Bloodborne XD,

I can't wait for a good battlefield game to come along, like Bad Company 3, I'd imagine the install base and active players on PC would be higher, this game isn't exactly universally recieved well and given 9/10's (Give Aj and TB a lookup for general PC viewpoints).

It just feels like there's only a higher base because there's not much to play during that month for either console, PC players have Pillars of Eternity, Cities Skylines and others to keep them busy, hell CS/CSGO has more players than hardline since that's blowing up on both Twitch and Steam.

I find it odd though that a PS blog would include PC into their graph/article, it seems like they would because they feel it's some sort of momentous achievement that no one else will ever make against them or that they feel they've won at something, it's not even a battle to begin with.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

They should though, it's great.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

lol Nice. Kinda redeeming after this nonsense that was posted at launch when they didn't factor in EA access..

On XB1 they have more online shooters to play: Halo MCC and Titanfall

More popular on PC than Xbox One as well. Interesting.

No it's not, in fact PC players playing way more BF4 than BFH(over 2x for last 24hours peak)

Go check http://bf4stats.com/ and http://bfhstats.com/

PS4 over 2x the userbase. A lot of us own both consoles. Those that own both consoles get the PS4 version, which skews the results. That "hardcore" audience generally buys/plays more games.
