1. Free online multiplayer "Competition is good for the consumer." - If only that were true, guys. So last generation there was Xbox Live (paid subscription) and PSN (free or as a premium membership service in the form of PS+). If competition served consumers, then we would have seen Microsoft adjusting and offering free online multiplayer while Xbox Live Gold would have come with multiple additional benefits for paying consumers. What we got instead is Sony adjusting and putting online multiplayer behind a paywall. I am not going to pay for something that should be free, so Sony has to fix this.

This will never happen. This is now a big key to Sony earning money again.
Besides all the games coming to ps+ its definitely worth it.
Was just gonna give a serious reply, then I read the last part. Good job, you made me waste precious time on this.

please Rol, we know a rule 34 Kim Possible game would win you over :p
that or a Kim Possible Disney Infinity addition

I don't think it's a big key. They have to pay the developers plus maintain the infrastructure.

Are you joking? Nintendo has been treating other game companies like crap for years. It is time Karma happen to them. There are bad history, regarding Nintendo relations with other gaming companies. Bathesda laugh at Nintendo because they have so much money but they aren't willing to give them a free dev kit and free marketing, and expect a game from them. There are history with Nintendo and Sony too, Nintendo basically laugh at Sony's partnership console agreement. Also Nintendo's Youtube policy, and most other gaming companies don't have it.

Home on PS4 would be a dream come true. Add to that a VR set and I'll have no more reasons to go out of my house ever again!!
"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"
I was at a secret meeting between Sony and Nintendo in Kyoto in 2012 and they had a deal pretty much hammered out until it was revealed that Sony had in the contract that they would take over eShop operations. I post on reddit sometimes, so I'm a credible source.
Needless to say, Iwata flipped the table and stormed out. I remember it like it was yesterday. He yelled something about crushing the competition and that the Wii U would be an unstoppable demon that would bury Sony and EA once and for all.

OT but without derailing too much, my understanding was that the PlayStation CD Add On for the SNES broke down because Sony basically decided they wanted all (or the vast majority of) the licensing royalties for the games on it. Which would have effectively made Nintendo a 3rd party on their own format.
