I liked the game quite a bit and had loads of fun with it. Though I did play the game on the PS4 and not the Wii U. I couldn't wait that long XD Though I heard the Wii U version isn't very good so if you have another console then get the game. If you only have the Wii U, then maybe you should look at another game.

Not bad game... yeah, buy it at 30$.

Don't know how the Wii U version runs, but the game is good. Definitely deserves a play through

Obviously doesnt run as well as PS4/XB1, but isnt majorly downgraded like say COD games were on Wii. The core game is all there and graphically its pretty much identical, but with lower res and lower framerate, but thankfully zero screen tearing. In fact it isnt the worst performing version, as a friend says the PC version is a complete mess. Gamepad use is minimal but the map is very useful and doesnt disrupt the flow of the game with having to constantly pause to set waypoints, and off tv is always handy. The game itself is fine, i love hacking and being able to tool up with serious weaponry without having to grind and as i said in my earlier post the online is surprisingly very well done on Wii U. If found at the right price i recommend Wii U only owners to check it out.

If you want to... no.

Nope. If you have it on another console, then definitely not.

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

If Wii U is the only console you own, yeah.

If you plan on getting a PS4 or X1 eventually, just wait. Its a pretty good game and you don't want a bad frame rate taking away from the experience.

According to Digital Foundry, not well. Struggles to achieve 30 fps and seems to dip into the teens during heavy action.

This is one of those games I'd recommend on next gen primarily for the frame rate.

This is confusing on so many levels. if you mean current gen, then wii U is included in that. If you mean next generation, then we don't know if watchdogs will be available or what hardware will exist by then.

If you have somewhere else to play it, then, at least according to DF, you shouldn't go for WiiU version:

"With a visual standard that matches the PS3's in almost every area, the Wii U offers by no means the best way to play Watch Dogs. We're spared the heavy tearing of Sony's last-gen console but the v-synced playback on Nintendo's console comes at a high cost. As is the trend for many of the ports to Nintendo's platform, performance is a genuine issue. To an extent, having an off-TV play option for Watch Dogs is plus, in much the same way it is for most Wii U editions of last-gen games. However, it's clear the touchscreen aspect of Nintendo's controller is under-utilised. It's been an extra six month wait for Wii U owners, but this hasn't manifested in any kind of tangible boost, leaving us feeling somewhat disappointed."
