I got the Bloodborne CE with a code for the digital OST. This OST is its own app sitting between my PS4 games in the library, it's a mess.

How hard is it to add a "Music section" under the new menu? Let us play our MP3s, have Spotify and game OSTs sit there instead of in games library

Honestly they should just stop with this new dynamic nonsense and go back to XMB, the cleanest, simplest and most straightforward OS of all time.

They do need to fix the UI and add some important media functions.

Id rather them focus on great games like Bloodborne than media capabilities.

While it is nice to have all these additional features, I always think that games should be the number one priority of a a game console company.

I do get annoyed sometimes, because consoles like the Wii U can't even play music in the first place.

God forbid they continue to fund game developement alongside OS improvements -_-

I agree, the OS sucks big time. The PS3 had a simple and easy to use OS.

It's ironic because people complained about how basic the xmb used to be.

My god, only because you cannot listem your mp3 from the hd (because you can from a pendrive) PS4 have a inferior OS?

I actually hate the XMB OS. Always have. The PS4's looks much nicer, in my opinion.

This thread must be a figment of our imaginations. Every non-fan of PS knows PS fans never criticise PS or Sony. Therefore a thread like this cannot exist, otherwise it breaks the fabric of reality.

Personally I think the PS4 OS looks prettier, and is obviously better for accessing meta info for games. But I reckon the PS3 xmb is slightly more user friendly for accessing playable content.

Obviously until PS4 gets DLNA support it has a significant shortcoming in its media capabilities.
