he knows about the Nintendo program on youtube, he's too stupid or, he wants to do a rant like all the other rants on his channel for more money. He doesn't cover Nintendo content, and his wii u was a donation. Crybaby, that's what he is. "passion" lol, paycheck.

He would have more Nintendo content if Nintendo stopped claiming his videos. Now lets say If he did signed up for Nintendo youtube program, he won't be able to review none Nintendo games, and he will only be able to review a selected amount of Nintendo IPs, and then Nintendo will have to review it which takes a couple of days. In other words, Angry Joe's channel which covers all games, will be dead.

You can sign up individual videos instead of complete channels if you want to continue to include non-Nintendo content...this doesn't stop you from doing that in any way.

Nintendo is very strong and proud company and they have the most loyal fans out there, that is a fact.
But these kind of decision are just the kind that makes you wonder what the hell they were thinking.
I know it won't hurt them much, not now, and probably not for some time but if they continue with this direction they will start loosing us.
This is a proof that nintendo sometimes can't see what is trending and what is hot in the gaming community and that is sad really.

Dude, Nintendo's copyright policies are 100% wrong, even illegal.  They have claimed reviews, they have claimed news stories.  Those are the textbook definitions of fair use and if any of these YouTubers had the money to do so, they could kick Nintendo's butt all over open court.

As for sharing "a bit" of revenue, unless you sign up to the creators program it's all the revenue.  And if you do sign up, they take 40%.  That's on top of the 40% YouTube takes.  And ad revenue is at a low right now so what Nintendo is doing is mental.

Also, Joe gave Nintendo props some time before he got a Wii U.

Their policies are wrong, I know it, all the world knows it. But there´s no need to be a troll between lines as he is being. He is feeding haters. And his channel is full of them, so makes sense.

Also I want to remember that Nintendo can be all the bitch that they want on youtube because it doesn´t affect me, the consumer. My games are great with or without people earning money of them doing... well, nothing. But all this youtubers have a power that they don´t deserve, they can make the problem of a very tiny minority (youtubers) look as a big and terrible problem for the consumer. But it is not. Is THEIR problem. It doesn´t change anything for the consumer. Anything.

What is the point in that if his subs can't see it on his channel?

Oh no, now he can't make all of the Nintendo videos his channel is famous for. Oh wait...

Nintendo's policies are idiotic, but I take videos like these way more seriously when they come from channels who are known for producing Nintendo-related content and by people that will actually be affected by them.

Gotta agree. He was never even interested in Nintendo to begin with.

This, I've watched Joe for years now and he's never covered Nintendo for all the years he's gamed, only recently had he tried to because he thought he could make money, then he saw their policy and for some stupid reason felt that he saw wrong in what Nintendo has going and wants to get into Nintendo gaming to challenge it, it makes no sense because he's not into Nintendo games, hasn't covered any way before the policy and his Wii U is a donated one, he didn't even go out and buy it himself which just makes it worse.

Hell a good chunk of his paycheck went towards a way overspecced PC build with an expensive alienware case in which he haggled for 20% off because jew money.

I like his angry reviews, his rants not so much but at the end of the day he only does this so he can generate more money and ranting towards a self made hot topic will generate him more and he knows this, I just think Joe is a bit of a tightwad when it comes to youtube money, he could just do what others do and work a job and still play games while making a little extra on youtube, but for him it's all or nothing and thanks to people like him others expect to be able to make tons of money from the games and when they can't they get into a massive hissy fit.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Okay, lets try this again:

What do you mean when you say "it" in you other post? What wouldn't the subs be able to see?

You know, someone needs to sue Nintendo. And I say that cause I like them, I really do. But some people only learn the hard way. So if a YouTuber does a review and gets a claim and has the means to drag the big N to court, please do. They need to learn their lesson and if the burnt hand is the only form of education they understand, so be it.

oh come off it, Nintendo is in the legal right. if you're going to use Nintendo's intellectual property to make yourself money then legally you do owe them something from it or at least need their permission

most of these large Youtube reviewers who are upset are big money makers from the site. I GET Nintendo's perspective. not saying I agree with it, but sueing them would just be a waste of your money as you would lose and end up paying for both YOUR legal fees and theirs. its intellectual property and unfortunately when you buy a game you're buying the right to play it, not to broadcast it online and receive revenue for showing others the game

I think its somewhat annoying, Nintendo's stance on this, and I think freely letting people promote and talk about and show their games online would HELP rather than hinder. but in the end it is up to Nintendo.

I'm on their side since it is their right. I would prefer if it wasn't the case but I think its absurd to act as if anyone should be able to take any content from a video game and do whatever they want with it, especially for profit. Nintendo spends who knows how much making sure all of their games and contect are copyrighted and protected in the first place so we can't be too surprised in how they're acting. they have FAR more IPS than other brand in gaming and are an old fashioned company (which isn't such a terrible thing)
