There haven't even been 17 Metroid, Star VFox, Mario Party, Mario Kart and Zelda games.

My opinion on Nintendo's stance is that there are plenty of channels that cover Nintendo on a weekly basis, so he's obviously exaggerating the problem. I've seen Nintendo sending early review copies to youtube channels with only 2k subs. How is that being against youtube?

Yea he tends to overuse his persona a lot. Other than the bolded words which are over exaggerated he makes valid points. He angrily disagrees with Nintendo's stance while I politely disagree.

I wouldn't call him a Nintendo troll and hater though (responding to your response to STAGE). He did enjoy playing Mario Kart and Mario Party quite a bit! Disagreeing with a company policy (no matter how much he uses his angry persona) does not make you a hater.

This is pure trolling, populism and clickbait. 

This is the guy that made his fans buy him a WiiU, because he doesnt have enough money with 2 millions subs on his channel. And yet he hasn´t review any of its games. Because is too much for him share a piece of the revenue of 2 videos per year to make happy the few Nintendo fans on his channel, specially the ones that paid him a WiiU. Instead he make videos feeding the haters to earn audience. Awesome.

How do you react about anti-consumer practices from other companies?

Seems to me like Nintendo always get a free pass when it comes to such practices, but other companies are the devil if they announce or do anything remotely similar.

Is this necessarily anti-consumer? If anything, it is anti-"producer." If somebody makes money off of Nintendo's IP they have rules. Angry Joe could put the video back up if he removed the ads, for example.

Ok let's get some misconstrued facts straight here:

First, Joe did NOT ask his fans to buy him a Wii U, it was literally ONE guy (LiexLie) who donated the full purchase price of the bundle to him on his own and stated explicitly that it was for Joe to get a Wii U. He never requested money for it, he merely said that the Wii U was looking good when doing his Top 10 Games of 2014 list. And aside from that, it makes sense for Joe to spend money from the show to buy stuff that supports the show, be it new consoles or computers or setting up servers for multiplayer on certain games. He is a reviewer and streamer, he kinda has to spend some of that income on games, game consoles, and other hardware and software.

Second, Joe did not JUST start complimenting Nintendo now for the moneyz. He gave them huge props after E3 2014, gave them a shout out in the honorable mentions in his Top 10 Games list even though he didn't play the games he mentioned (Bayo 2, Mario Kart 8, Smash)

Third, Joe has been doing Nintendo stuff on his Twitch since he got his Wii U and has apparently enjoyed the games he played from what I have seen. I mean, the most popular (aka most lucrative) game historically for him on Twitch is XCOM iirc, which he rarely plays right now. So if he was all about the big bucks, he would do that all the time. But no, he did several long (in one case over four hours) streams of Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, and Mario Party (the MP10 one is hilarious, btw). This was the second time he tried to post a highlights reel from Twitch, but he has done multiple other streams besides these. Besides, isn't it just a bit ridiculous to just label him a fake who is in it for the money just because he didn't buy every single system right out of the gate? Not everyone feels the need to do that. Can't he just have changed his mind about the Wii U like any other human being can?

So stop trying to just wave this off by attacking Joe, that's not helping.

Nintendo's rules are in contradiction to the law though.  I have seen news stories get flagged for using clips of Nintendo's games.  With their current settings, an Angry Review would definitely get flagged.  A producer of a product being sold to the consumer having undue influence on the media produced about their product is anti-consumer.  And yes, that includes taking revnue from reviewers, critics, pundits, and journalists as it impedes their ability to do their job.  Plus, fair use doctrine clearly states that Nintendo has no right whatsoever to claim commentary, parody, review, etc., either pulling them down or taking a cut of the revenue.  All products under those categories are the property of the creators alone; Nintendo has no rights whatsoever.
