Ah so he interacts with his fans^^ That's pretty awesome, I don't know all too many youtubers that does that.
Fans can be pretty good for many things^^ I find it awesome when people sometimes show you stuff that you normally wouldn't try out yourself, that you then starts to like. Sure there's going to be a few hit and miss situations here and there but that's part of the experience

Yeah, last week he flew out to play MKX and have a conversation with Ed Boon while reading fan questions to him about the game. He's a very gracious guy and doesnt tend to overstep his boundaries. He has called major Nelson out on a bullshit for DRM because because of his Youtube fame he went out to E3 and interviewed them. He tends to do that.

When everyone stood up against Microsofts policies he literally had a celebration rant that the gaming community as a whole got together to show Microsoft what was what, because in the end its all our hobbie. Its our passtime.

Then why don't you just say "In my opinion"? Also, he didn't conduct himself in any manner outside of being real with Nintendo gamers. Joe is famous for being himself. If you find him to be a troll then thats just what it is to you. He doesn't hate them, he was just being real, in my honest opinion (which is why many people gravitate to him and it entertains them most of the time). I've seen the defense force on all sides from MS to Nintendo and Sony. As I said, i've seen Nintendo gamers on forums since the GC era when the internet was coming into its own. Sony gamers were always the majority on the net, but Nintendo was very loyal and vocal no matter how bad Nintendo did.

Most things on the net are opinions so it doesn't need to be said unless someone is of the mind set of being combative, considering how many people here are saying they think the policy is silly but the video is click bait because of what I'm hghlighting shows it's not just me who is getting this impression. I've been following gaming for a long time and tbh I don't see how Nintendo fans are more loyal if anything they're the most splintered group I remember Sony fans on Gametrailers saying a guy deserved to get shot back at the PS3 launch because he was buying an extra one to sell on Ebay at the time of the attack.

I've seen fans on all sides the's not really any difference in loyalty tbh.

How is it really clickbait though? People aren't going to see any of the stuff in the video unless they actually watch the video in the first place...

People will hear or read about that part of his rant and go over to watch the video, the video is titled Nintendo rant which can still be seen as harmless enough but the parts about the fanbase and library is a bit questionable.

"boohoo look at me I am a parasite baby.

I tell everyone that I make Nintendo videos because I like Nintendo. But actually I just like the easy money that I get for actually doing very little.
And when Nintendo wants their fair share or does not want me to show their stuff I get all whiney and stop making Nintendo videos as revenge!
Because I lied to you in the beginning I never liked Nintendo I just like that I can make money with their property.
"

This is how I feel about all those losers seriously....

oh yeah also add:

"I always come up with the nonsense that its free advertising etc. and totally ignore that in the beginning they were free advertising for me!
I mean everyone knows that people came to youtube for me angry joe. Noone ever heard of Microsoft Sony or Nintendo. People obviously looked for Angry Joe saw me play games or whatever and just because of this became fans of the consoles/games. It is IMPOSSIBLE that I became famous because other people looked for games and just stumbled upon angry joe. ITS NOT POSSIBLE! that they just found angry joe by accident and then kept coming back! Angry joe was there BEFORE all the gaming companies NOT VICE VERSA! The gaming companies just became famous because of me!

And NO! I dont owe anything to anyone! They owe ME something because they became famous thanks to me!"

I like how most of the people who answered, "no" in a thread I made about whether or not Chuggaconroy's Xenoblade  videos will help Nintendo sell Xenoblade X are the same people in this thread saying Nintendo loses out big if they don't let people post any let's play they want involving Nintendo content without any obligations to provide money to Nintendo for use of their IP.

Because he isn't stupid. Everyone knows about the Nintendo defense force. They will defend Nintendo against anything. They even tried to rationalize Nintendo's lack of third party during the GC era.

Actually it is stupid if he's trying to make a legitimate case because a lot of the fans agree the policy is silly, it only undermines his own point and makes it look like a troll rant, if he had left all of the uncalled for bashing out he wouldn't be dismissed by as many people here but as it stands it only serves to prove his critics here right that it's click bait.

It's equivalent to people you see on forums who start calling people fanboys when in an argument for no reason.

Well many fans have proved his point already even in this very thread. Reading nothing more than the title and posting or straight up complaining that all he's doing is whining. He knew he would receive the backlash from that section of the Nintendo community so he addressed it.

The policy itself is fine. The problem is the ad revenue share. Nintendo and Google takes a hefty chunk of it and leaves the scraps for the content creator. If Nintendo can find the balance and can be a little more generous to youtubers, I think it will work.

At the moment both sides look pathetic, petty and greedy.

As he said, Nintendo probably has the legal basis to do it, even though it's pure stupidity...but you know, Nintendo is being really stupid lately about their marketing policies, so it makes sense.
