Yacht Club Games Wants Their Shovel Knight in SSBU/3DS! Shovel Knight Has A Ton of Support from Fans...

Yes another third party character, with Phil Spencer giving the "A Okay", all nintendo has to do is make the call. Obviously its all up to them, but anywayz this thread is talking about our boy Shovel Knight!

We got this from a popular Youtuber by the name Jwittz (huge with pokemon) with him asking on twitter if he should vote for Shovel Knight in the ballot. Yacht Club Games replies...

"Yes, yes, a thousand shovels, yes!"

Personally i see Shovel Knight as the symbol of Indie games with how big it was when first release and how amazing it was overall.

Yacht would greatly benefit as an invite in SSB "is no joke"!

But obviously a character should be popular, and that is exactly what Shovel Knight is now. A recent poll had 4600 votes and number most voted by a long shot was our favorite Blue Digging Protagonist, Shovel Knight!

I think that would be pretty cool also. Maybe this will be the incentive for 3rd parties to be on Wii U. If Ninty puts your character in Smash, you give them a game. (we don't talk about Snake)

Could happen but it always urks me when its Nintendo + Third party cause its always unpredictable

Well, of course the devs want their character in Smash... who wouldn't?!

Not sure about this one though, I don't think they will make it but who knows what may happen?

I'd much rather see more established characters in Smash.

Well I mean the game looks great but Im yet to play it, hasn't released on PS4 yet. After that I can decide whether he is deserving of a spot in Smash... just kidding the answer is obviously no, regardless of how awesome his game is. 1 game from a random indie studio doesn't qualify you for Smash Bros.

Im with you 110%, i could go on with this forever. Characters that come to mind that make too much sense would obviously go to....

i agree with you, it really isnt enough, but funny thing is everybody wants bayonetta in... and she shouldnt be for the exact reason you mention Shovel Knight not being in (instead of 1 indie game, just an exclusive wiiu game)

I think is a great idea, shovel knight has my vote
