Reggie and Iwata would like a word with you. Seriously, both of them are such goofballs, makes Ninty's poor decisions all the more tolerable. 

Reggie just makes sure Nintendo have good relations with Retailers in the US. He's basically a marketing guy, he has no say in game development decision.

Iwata? I'll leave Japanese gamers to evaluate him. He doesn't have much presence in the West.

The Spider Man move had nothing to do with Sony's position. The Spider Man movie all make money already. Bayo has been in only one Nintendo game. She's not even close to deserving being considered a Nintendo character, yet. She's just a 3rd party exclusive, like MGS and RE4 on GCN. Same with Snake and Leon. Banjo was born and raised on Nintendo. If any other non-Nintendo character deserves to be in Smash, it's him. Him and Nintendo have a history.

I think it would be an extremely good PR move for both of them.

Regardless of the issues, Sony needs to make the right moves and so far they've been very good. Profitability can be seen in the near future if they keep going.

Banjo was born and raised on Nintendo, but then again...so was Crash Bandicoot, Sypro and Tomba (as well as others) on Sony and we all know legalities are the reason why we cannot see them any longer. I've had to learn to get used to not seeing these characters. Master Chief has made it onto DOA so I can see Microsoft making it happen, but I was just being cautious. I am not here to rain on anyones parade.

It would be a good PR move but I think Bayonetta would be better personally. I just signed the petition for her when I get my Wii U.

Why not Both? It would be cool for MS and Nintendo to form a friendly relationship Banjo and Conker in Smash and MS releases Minecraft WiiU edition they both win in this situation.

It would be ideal to have both of them in Smash, but it's also very unlikely!

How about a deal? Banjo Kazooie gets into Smash 3DS in exchange for some BK and other titles being released for the 3DS.

Then, make Ice Climbers a Wii U Smash exclusive. It's win-win!

It wouldn't be the first time Nintendo allows MS IP into their system.

There are actually quite a few Microsoft-owned games available for DS.

However, that's DS. Not seen as a competitor to Xbox. Wii-U is.

Nintendo said WiiU is not competing with Xbox and PS.
