Read what I said in a previous post. There are 4 halos, 2 forzas and a tomb raider on x1 already. I know they are new entrys and not  jsut remsters, but at least half of the fans must own an x1 to play wich ever title they love. Halo will sell lots of copys, but it wont move as many consoles s gears would cuz there is no gears for fans to jump to the x1. New Ips are the key here, and I dont think they will have them. Their strategy is moneyhated third partys but this time there is no way they will take third partys from sony.

4 Halos that are just remasters. 1 main Forza and 1 spin off that is on X360 too (and this isn't a massive seller anyway). Tomb Raider? The remaster? Really? They still don't have a new Halo or Gears.

The question isn't what they have. I just want to see the logic behind your reasoning that the X1 can't do 12M more if they already did that in a single year. That simply doesn't make any sense, they would have to stop manufacturing it this year to achieve that. It sells basically half of what the PS4 does yearly. That means we will see a good 8M in the worse, worse case in 2015. That alone would put it at 20M. How much do you think the console will sell this year?

I would take a bet against that 25M anyday. Easy win. It can't do just that, because it already did half of that. It would be like predicting a 50M lifetime for PS4, it's crazy because he did half of that already.

While I agree with what you wrote... Xbone won't sell nowhere near 65-85m... forget about that.

It's on par with the sales pattern. X1 sells around half of the PS4, so if Sony achieves 130M, MS should get 65M. They aren't selling terrible numbers, PS4 just dwarves it because it sells beastly numbers. They sold 12M XB in basically one year. They will be around 20M when 2016 begins, close to 30M in Jan 2017. I see 60 to 65M as the number if they keep the current trend. If they manage to step up and fight Sony back a little, then they could try to reach 80M. Any prediction below 45M would be crazy. 55M would be too low, but likely if things get nasty for MS.

Of course, if by some crazy reason MS steps out of the console market, then it would end up with the lifetime cut short and the numbers would be lower. Anyway, highly unlikely.

Actually I think Nintendo has the weakest brand name, not xbox. Its the reason why Xbox is already beating Nintendo.

Not really, nintendo might not be selling great now, but it will sell slowly and surely as a second console. We have to admit that they lack the power and multyplats wich are the majority of the games. I as a nintendo fan will get a ps4 first then a wii u cuz I have to admit its lacking on the games front. But where the xbox1 and wii u have the same multyplats, the xbox would be crushed without a doubt.

Maybe you should put a bold on when! Cause they at this point 3rd parties have all but abandoned Nintendo. And the orginal Xbox beat the GC, even though 3rd party support wasn't that bad for the GC. Its excuses. If your as big as Nintendo and can't even sell 10 million in 2 years, when you once sold 100 million in 6 years, yeah there's a problem. 3rd parties won't be coming back, and its their fault!

Its wwhat Im saying, I know third partys are not coming back. What Im saying is taking away third partys and selling both on brand alone, wich means their own first party studios, nintendo would be way above MS. MS has the weakest brand name.

Now your making it unfair! Strip all Sony's 3rd parties while at it to! Nintendo has had over 30 years to develope 1st party games, Microsoft has only 13. So of course it would. But, you're playing the but game, and 3rd parties won't ditch Microsoft since games sell well on the console!

Haha, is this a joke post?

The Xbox brand isn't going anywhere. Xbox One sales are still running ahead of Xbox 360 at this same point in its life cycle.

Thing is you think the x1 will just get better and better while I belive the contrary. Those big numbers you state are from the hardcore fans who jump right away, and the hollliday paretns who buy it as a gift. this year we will se a decline. A drought of games untill the hollidys. And this hollidays, kids will be screaming for a ps4, so it wont matter if the x1 is cheaper, paretns will get their kid what they want, what their friends have. The worst thing is that halo is their biggest hitter and after it comes this year, next year will be a lot lower and so on. While I do think that 25m is a to low, Thaat is probably by bias sayng that number, But I still beliv they will achive 75-80% US to global sale and sony will take a big chunk of the US market share. The x1 has a cap of half the 360 lt, so no more than 40m.

Are you just not listening or refuse to understand that that is what Im saying? Im talking about brand power, nintendo has more, but I know MS will sell based on others brand power, cuz they have third partys. Never argued that nintendo was getting any third partys or MS to loose them any time soon. Just saying that because of their 30years they have better first partys and recongizable characters.

The lack of exclusives coming this year does make it seem like Microsoft are pulling their focus away from the console space. I mean this year Xbox One has Halo 5, Forza 6 and Quantum Break and that's it! Any other games are available on other systems, some are kept off of Playstation, but there's only 3 outright exclusives so far coming in 2015.

Fable Legends was supposed to be an Xbox One exclusive, it was announced as that, along with Ryse and Dead Rising, but all of those games ended up being moved to PC. Alan Wake got a PC release, so it seems likely that Quantum Break will too, there have also been several rumors about Halo 5 and Forza 6 getting PC releases.

I think it was even said at GDC that most of Xbox One's exclusives will be released on PC too.
I don't know if it will happen in 2015, but I think Microsoft are transitioning to broaden their focus of games across windows.
I think Microsoft will give up on just putting their games on Xbox One and every exclusive to that system will release on Windows. Xbox One will remain on store shelves, because it's an option for customers that don't want to game on PC or that don't even consider PC as an option for their gaming.

I think Microsoft will eventually treat Xbox like they treat their Windows Tablets, releasing regular new models and Windows games will run on all of them, along with the Tablets and the Windows PC OS as well.

IMO Xbox is just going to become like Steam box, you buy the box for the ecosystem and ease of use, but there won't be any exclusives for just that console.

Most of the exclusives are unnanounced, wait till E3. And sony, what about them?
