It's not an opinion, it's a fact. homosexuality is like liking or disliking chocolate, there isn't a right or wrong, just a preference. when someone discriminates a preferance, the person is wrong.

Ok so liking to have sex with 10 year olds is ok it is a person's preference.  Man they sure got things wrong with that national registry in your opinion then...

I quote you without writing what I was planning to answer to that...So wait!

Lol right on, not in any hurry. Materia has been back and forth on what causes (... poor word perhaps) homosexuality I think maybe he is trying to say it is a genetically (biological) driven preference now.

I must ask, is Materia-blade trying to argue that homosexuality is biologically driven or only genetically driven?

He would really need to be the one to answer that but he seems to be of the mind that a homosexual has no choice.  I would be more inclined personally to think it is a result of ones experiences in life but what the hell do I know.

I took some time to do some research and apparently, homosexuality is likely caused by epigenetics, not genetics. In case you don't know, epigenetics is the study of cellular and physiological traits not caused by changes in the DNA sequence. More specifically, it is the study of how the transcription from DNA to RNA is altered. What should also be pointed is that epigenetics may or may not be heritable.

Here are two papers that I've found that talks about the link between homosexuality and epigenetics:

That is unfathoming...You don't choose what turns  you on,it's an internal automatism! As a straight, you can choose to go with a men but if you don't like it(If you are really a straight you won't) (Your ''tool'' will determine)  but did it,you didn't ''became a gay'' you are still straight but a stupid or confused straight...

Think of that bro...The only choice is if you will accept your nature or you will pretend  to be a straight...

Good for them, they don't want money that is accepted legally like 95% of the world (100% in developed countries). Less money means less jobs, less financial standing and overall worst to US all together since bankruptcy is resolved by Government . With Nutty Religious hypocrites like these, It makes sense why China and other countries get most of the businesses. I would imagine the next for them will be signing bills allowing businesses to reject customers from race, minorites, gender, religions, disabled. Continuing to throw US to the Stone ages. Also this fuels the Anti- Americanism globally. The implications of this is larger than their ignorant brains to process.

Right China gets most of the business because of Indian's new law.  Wish I wasn't so ignorant, here I thought it was mostly about economics, trade policy and labor rates.

What? I said "China and other countries", which part don't you agree on? This bill will affect the trade agreement with other countries, even if its just a state bill. It is "about economics, trade policy and labor rates", the reduction of money flow affects them all.  (as this bill affect the trade relations, politically).

I understand where you are coming from with bankruptcy but it seems like you think the small amounts of money consumers wouldn't spend at -lets call them discriminating businesses- isn't going to be spent at all.

Russia should be in ashes by now if policy conerning LGBT was such a major factor in trade relations, along with every other country in the world that has civil rights or human rights issues.  Money talks louder than social issues.

Sorry, not trying to be a jack-ass but your grammer in the original post made it harder to follow.

If money was the only purposal than the "Indiana Governer" wouldn't "signs bill allowing businesses to reject gay customers".  I don't think you are aware that lots of rich business people are "gay" and have lots of power in society. So It's not JUST money that talks, It's money and a strong common idea (idealism) like discrimination. Eg. Nazi. It spreads like wild fire.

In that case nothing wrong it. There will be plenty of other shops/people that will help with their anniversery.  The government shouldn't make you serve somebody you don't want to serve. I applaud Mike Pence.

If the owner doesn't approve of interracial couples, should he be allowed to turn them away too?

My opinion is you can turn away anybody you want. Why not? You are providing a product and should be able to control where that product goes. Like if I own a video game store I can deny the kid that is acting stuck up and moronic and instead sell my product to somebody who actually acts like a nice person. You own the items/services, you can decide where/how/when/and why it goes. Does it really matter if the racist assholes deny a black person service, or the Catholic church denies gay couples service? In my opinion, no. Sure, they may be bad people, but you shouldn't force people to provide a product to everybody even if they don't want them. It's creates more controversy than it solves. There are plenty of other stores that can provide for you. And if it turns out that a majority of stores deny gays, then I guess the USA should ban gay marriage because the people are obviously not ready for it. The people decide what happens in this country, how it's always been, how it always should be. I for one am fine with all kinds of people. It's not like they are affecting me in anyway.
