I get why some feel like Businesses should be given the freedom to serve who they likes and suffer the consequences of that, but that gives way for discrimination to breed. If it wasn't for law, commercial segregation would have continued because people would have just stuck by their old toxic traditions and would have been very little consequences to them refusing to serve blacks. Unless there is actually a tangible logic, the law should prevent this kind of behaviour

Well, yes. He probably meant that like I did in my post. It shouldn't have to be typed. You should be able to refuse anyone, with a reason.

Civil rights has protected people from discrimination. Discrimination is not a reason to ban people from a business. Hospitals are businesses too. What happens if a gay person has life threatening illness or injury and dont have very long to live? Those religious hospitals would be to blame.

I'm not saying it is. Quite the opposite. If anyone is being a dick in aforementioned business and is causing a massive disturbance, kick their ass out. IDC if they're straight, gay, black, white, Peter Griffin or a Koala. There ass is being thrown out.
