Forums - Gaming - Does the 3DS have any Massive games left in the tank coming soon?

Other than Fire Emblem, there arent any Nintendo published games announced for the second half of the year so we will definitely get some announcements at E3.

This is the 3DS lineup of Summer/Fall 2014 in America

Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney-Aug 29
Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call-Sept 16
Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appétit!-Sept 16
FIFA 15-Sept 23
Super Smash Bros. For 3DS-Oct 3
Skylanders Trap Team-Oct 5
Tenkai Knights: Brave Battle-Oct 7
Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2-Oct 14
Pokemon Art Acedemy-Oct 24
Fantasy Life-Oct 24
Big Hero 6: Battle in the Bay-Oct 28
Power Rangers Super MegaForce-Oct 28
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham-Nov 11
Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal-Nov 11
Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire-Nov 21

A pretty even split between first party titles, Japanese localizations and kid-friendly games, I think we will see something similar this year.

From Nintendo I could see, Fire Emblem If, Detective Pikachu and Pokémon Z or X2/Y2. Japanese localizations could be Final Fantasy Explorers, Theatrhythm Dragon Quest, Attack on Titan. Child-friendly games could be Lego Avengers, Skylanders, and some other movie tie-ins.

I know! Imagine the parents that buys this game to their kids, and they end up traumatized after seeing this. This is the stuff creepypastas are born from.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Fire Emblem, Pokemon Xenoblade, Bravely Second are some of the few games left... but yeah, they are slowing down probably because of the next handheld

There is a pretty sizeable list of Japanese localizations I would like to see come stateside.

Final Fantasy Explorers
Dragon Quest Monsters 1+2
Dragon Quest VII
Bravely Second
Youkai Watch
Attack on Titan
Dragonball Z Extreme Botuden

From Nintendo I would also love to see a 2D Metroid, Advance Wars and Wario Land

Yokai Watch, bravely Second, Fire Emblem, probably Pokemon, probably Professor Layton and lots of smaller stuff. The releases are slowing down, the 3DS has a pretty normal console-cycle overall. I expect therefore the successor in Spring 2017. That matches the teasing of NX and that they have nothing more to say about it in 2015.

10 years greatest game event!

bets: [GTA6]

Well Bravely Second and the upcoming Fire Emblem game come to mind as well as Xenoblade on the New 3ds. By E3, I'd assume that they'll be announcing something Pokemon related and hopefully a few more games to keep the handheld going a bit longer.

If they can port Wii games with the newnintendo3DS then there can be a lot of remakes.

It would be nice to see the other Operation Rainfall games get another chance to sell.
