xb1 is at 1.4m or maybe even more as of
but that does not mean ps4 is at 1.6m only. that number is to low, too
the only reasonable answer would be the "more than 3 million" phrase being at least 3.09million or even 3.1x million or more

 

both xb1 and ps4 sold a shit load of units november and december in uk

PS4 sold more in November + December... so if you think Xbone sold 1.4m you will need to add more than these 400k to PS4 not including what it sold in September/October.

It will give you more than 1.6m and more than 3m for PS4 + Xbone.

That is not possible... sorry... for more than Xbone sold in Nov and Dec... PS4 sold more... that is pure maths.

Best possible number for Xbone is 1.3m... my estimates is more close to 1.2m to be fair.

We know UK is 1.3 million fir XB1. But I disagree with your 11 million statement. Microsoft said it shipped around 10 million by November. No way its under 11 million as of February. In fact, I say that vgchartz is tracking the XB1 pretty well WW. So yeah I think their right, you just want to thresh the XB1 down.

I think we're fighting this for nothing. Game said that the PS4 and XB1 have sold OVER 3 million. It could be 3.1 million, 3.3 million, maybe even more. So why not we just assume vgchartz for now is tracking both console right.

That is my point... VGC based sales in EU + RoW in UK weekly charts so if they lowered the UK sales due overtracking the WW sales will get lower too.

And the 10 million shipped was for Black Friday and holidays... and they didn't reach that number... they are aming to reach it until end of December... the sales at that time could be 8 million or even less.

Over 3 million is less than 3.1 million... if it was 3.1m they will say over 3.1m... the number is most close to what they give.

1M doesn't mean sold. It could be shipped.

The XB1 almost reached 10 milion shipped by November 12. Even if we assume that sales where around 7 million at the time, it sold almost 1 million on black friday alone in the US. I think we can say the XB1 sold  3 million during that time till the end of the holidays. And 1.5 million by the end of Feb, yes I think the XB1 is tracked just fine.

Why would they say over 3.1 million, it makes no sense. And anyway how do we know GAME has the numbers correct for the UK. Remember when AMD said over 30 million, look what happened to that...

I belive Xbox One is max 1.3 mil,while PS4 is minimum 1.7. I base that solely on those british friends i got,and what they are telling me,and the fact that many of them migrated from Xbox to PS4,and very few of them plan to buy a Xbox,but only when the price has lowered even more.
