Its called a choice? Nobody is making you buy anyting :)

Keep rolling them all you want. When you're done, look up threads with the announcement of remasters of DmC, Tomb Raider, and even Darksiders 2. See which ones attract more hate and try to figure out why. And just a hint, it's not the price or how good of a deal they are.

I don't see how all these remasters and re-releases are a new thing. Maybe they are getting more frequent?

Oh, Tomb Raider got a LOT of hate.  It was dubbed Tomb Raider: Fraud Edition by many (Google it).  I was pretty shocked to see so many Tomb Raider haters defending TLoUR.  The hate goes in every direction, lately.  Me?  I just buy the ones I like (which are quite a few, actually) and ignore the ones I don't.

I still think it got less than TLoUR or GoWIII. Just look up all the "replaystation" comments.

Now take off all the ones that didn't release before the first 1.5 years of the consoles life cycle were up

Well that's kind of a trick question because the PS3 was backwards compatible early on.............

Not a trick question at all, obviously only PS3 releases count. Backwards compatibility is a whole different story 

Well in those threads there isn't anyone defending them to the death like you would for a Sony only game so you get less arguments. People just say they're cash grabs and move on. 

The only remasters I've been okay with in the last 2 years were Majora's Mask, MCC and Grim Fandango. MCC mostly because the first two games have MP elements that can no longer be experienced on console and buggy MP aside, it was a great deal. Majora's Mask is what, a 15 year old game on a console that can't be purchased via retail anymore. Plus the game was starting to hit that retro price where it's almost not worth buying. I don't think Grim Fandango needs to be explained.

The rest of these don't make much sense to me. These games are not being built from the ground up to match the capabilities of the PS4/XBO, they are simply getting slight upgrades for extra sales. People can use whatever justification they want, most of these games can be found for less than $20 on the PS3/360. Like others have suggested, Sony and MS should just reduce the prices of these older consoles.

People are saying if you don't want it, don't buy it, can't the same be said if you do want to play it. If people wanna play these games enough, they should just buy it on their original consoles which I wouldn't really call outdated yet. You guys always go on and on about how these casuals only buy 2-3 games anyway, if this is true then they won't have a problem buying a PS3/Xbox 360 just to play these 2-3 games they want.
