Zelda NES has aged the worst if you ask me, and not because of the graphics; the gameplay is obtuse, cryptic, and annoying.

Or...maybe it's the other way around. You're the one who has aged the worst, curl.

You're showing grey hair.

Don't shoot the piano player. :P

I haven't noticed any grey hairs yet, but I do think I'm seeing the beginnings of male pattern baldness so you may have a point... ;)

Having said that, I wasn't even born when Zelda NES released, I'm a child of 1989.

People voting WW = LOL

Two decades later OOT is still considered the greatest game of ALL TIME. How can you age better than THAT? Every other Zelda game is just a footnote to Oot. Anyone voting WW must be a kid.

LTTP definitely for best, almost 25 years and it still looks great and still a blast to play. I always thought Phantom Hourglass looked a bit dated and the gameplay never felt quite right to me so I'm going with that.

Best: WW
Worst: TP

Even when Wind Waker is the weakest 3D Zelda, it has great combat mechanism and art style.

How is Wind Waker the weakest?

How is Wind Waker the weakest?

Lacking dungeons, boring sailing, tacky art style.

Really? I liked the sailing. And how many dungeons did it have again?

7, and all rather underwhelming in my opinion.

I've found the first 3D ones have aged the best, and the older 2D ones have aged the worst.

Graphically, the early 3D ones are obviously outdated, but with a fresh shiny coat of paint, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker end up being better overall games than any of the newer Zeldas.

The 2D Zeldas, unfortunately, feel super archaic. Especially Zelda 1. Link to the Past is still playable, but it feels super old even though the graphics still look fine.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Any with cel-shaded like art direction age the best.
