The Wonderful 101 9 5.17%

ZombiU 12 6.90%

Total:173

My favorite games are Bayonetta 1 and 2, Rayman Legends, Child of Light, Pier Solar, Injustice, Resident Evil Revelations, Deus Ex Directors cut, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Believe it or not there are some 3rd party games on Wii U, and I do enjoy them.

What I like about it is that it uses so very little power. It uses the least power out of the big 3 and even costs less to run than the OG Wii. On top of using that little power, it still has some of the best games I've played in years. Its a little miracle.

Nice thread, a bit of positive Wii U stuff... My fave games for Wii U are- 3D World, Donkey Kong, Lego City Undercover, Mario Kart 8, Smash, Bayo 2 and Wonderful 101. My fave multiplats are Deus Ex, Bayonetta, Watch Dogs, RE Revelations and the Batman Arkham games. Upcoming games that are day 1 are- Splatoon, Zelda, Xenoblade, Devils Third, Rodea and Star Fox.

MK8
And I love the rounded disc edges

Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2 & WWHD. Really great games.

Here are the games I've played on Wii U so far

New Super Mario Bros. U+New Super Luigi U
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Pikmin 3
Mario Kart 8
Hyrule Warriors
Super Smash Bros. For Wii U
Super Mario 3D World
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (currently playing)

All of these games are great, I'd say 8.0 or above. One thing I really enjoy about the system is Off-TV play, comes in handy when my wife or daughter wants to watch TV or I want to play in the bedroom, however I do wish the signal range was a bit longer.

Games I'm planning on getting in the near future

Bayonetta 1+2
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Splatoon

My favorite games are Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World by a large margin. Both of them are the best in their respective series and are among the top 10 of my favorite games of all time. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is merely a small improvement over Brawl, and is put to shame by the series' two original entries.

My most anticipated title would be The Legend of Zelda, considering how F-Zero was pretty much confirmed not to appear this generation. Given the many errors present in Skyward Sword (almost completely linear, no overworld worth mentioning, few memorable tracks (the only one that I remember is the one that played versus Girahim), tedious and inaccurate Wii remote gameplay, Fi, horrendous character models and cringeworthy sound effects) and the sales and reputation that the game garnered as a result, I fully expect Nintendo to learn from their mistakes.

Zelda Wii U famously has a massive overworld which sets the tone for the whole game in my view. Finally deciding to carry on the legacy of Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess who all sought to push the invisible walls present in video games. Skyward Sword was a notable move in the wrong direction, which was made painfully obvious by the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. A fact noted by Aonuma himself, as he admitted to being inspired by the game when developing Zelda Wii U.

My favorite things about the hardware:

- The ability to play games without turning on the TV, or waiting for the TV to be unoccupied.
- The ability to hide your screen during local multiplayer.
- The ability to move your HUD info away from the TV screen.
- The immediate access to maps and inventory management without having to pause the game.
- The ability to access every game's online multiplayer modes without having to pay more money in addition to the game's full price.
- The ability to play Nintendo games.

Super Mario 3D World, although I believe that'll change once I buy Bayonetta 2.

Favorite Games:
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Pikmin 3
Mario Kart 8

Games I'm looking Forward to:
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Splatoon
Zelda U
Yoshi's Woolly World

I am more of a fan of the games then I am of the console but I do enjoy backwards compatibility and off screen play. As for my favorite game, I'd go with Mario Kart 8 and Pikmin 3 right now.

I really want to know. My system seller for the Wii U will be Zelda U and Star Fox this year. What are your favorite games, most anticipated games and your favorite things about your console? Lets hype things up for Nintendo on this page! :)

Actually, everything. You listed are a bunch of my favorites. There are a few more as well though. DK:TF is right up there for me. I'm also a big fan of RE:R and Deus Ex. Among others as well.

I'm super psyched for XBX and Zelda U. If a Metroid ever gets revealed i'm sure i'll be excited for that as well. I would love a console pokemon and animal crossing as well.

Oh and captain toad is in my top 5.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
