Forums - Nintendo - Brawl makes my Wii "Rev up"

Listen to your Wii when brawl is in, lol.

It sounds like a boat motor. Like the disc is spinning at a billion revolutions per second. That disc is spinning really fast constantly. I hope Brawl doesn't shorten the life if my Wii, with all the energy it takes to make that thing spin so fast, lol.

I sold my 360 with it RRoD's, but yeah, 360 sounds like a weedeater, lol. I'm just not used to seeing my Wii vibrating the surface its on.

Mine beeps CONSTANTLY, it's a disc-reading problem with my Wii, I've always had it. But never this constant like with Brawl.

But my warranty ends in July, Brawl works fine other than the clicking from the system, so I'll get my replacement from Nintendo somewhat soon.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

It's not, my brothers Wii is brand new his is the same. My Gamestore's Wii all sound the exact same when we loaded them up with Brawl this morning. I know your kidding around, but honestly, I do hope you realize that a dirty lens would cause Brawl not to work, but it wouldn't cause it to "spin faster."

Thanks for trolling my topic though.

I have noticed at least two different Wiis having long pauses between say the stage select scene and the actual level. Longer than I have ever seen on the Wii before. They said the game is a dual-layer disc which is giving some Wiis with dirty lenses problems, so I think it is largely related to the laser. The game might be one of the more intense games when it comes to stress on the Wii.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

For RPMs? Yes.

For graphics, who know?

For gameplay, well, the Wii reached its limit with SMG.

However, keep in mind, the PS3 has potential, while the Wii has been delivering since launch. The fact that the other systems aren't even close to their limit, speaks loads about the quality of the Nintendo development teams and console designers.

You can't play potential, my friend.
