Platinum Games want to make Bayonetta 3 in the future

is bayonetta part of nintendo now?

I hope they just buy the IP from Sega (since Sega likely doesn't give a crap), but I dunno. Nintendo is usually not that prone to making high budget sequels to games that don't sell all that great.

I'd say it could go either way. 50-50.

It's kinda funny that they convinently left Peach off the Women's Power campaign ... guess sitting around and waiting to be rescued by a man didn't quite vibe with that campaign. 

Well, Nintendo funding Bayonetta in the first place wasn't intended to sell copies. It was intended to prove to the hardcore gamers that Nintendo supports mature games, so they can get a WiiU and find and appropiate experience for them. So even if it doesn't sell well, I can totally see Bayo 3 on the NeXt.

If Nintendo's willing to fund it, yeah. Platinum had nothing but great things to say about Bayo 2's development and they've talked about the possibility of Bayo 3 being Nintendo exclusive. It just depends on if Ninty is satisfied enough with Bayo 2's sales or thinks there's room for improvement.

I mean, Nintendo had to know what they were getting into with B2. I think they could use B3 in much the same way, to attempt to lure in hardcore gamers and just have a prestige piece (which they don't do a lot of).

Bayonetta 2 will probably outsell Bayonetta on the 360. I think it will be profitable for Nintendo, or at least break even. So definitely. They know they need as diverse of a library as possible.

I honestly think if Nintendo has plans for Bayo 3 it will be as a N3DS exclusive. That way they can better tap into the Japanese market it it fails in the west. But I would love to see it on a home console instead of course.

I think there's a really good chance that B3 might happen.
Vgchartz has at 650K on a very small userbase. If the next console really is targeted at the core gamer and it's the Fusion consoles, more likely the game will be greenlighted because of a lower risk and higher userbase.

Also, if the sales are steady and high enough, that will help encourage Nintendo.

Yeah,  Xenoblade Chronicles is the best RPG of the last console generation but did not sell millions, now nintendo (Monolith Soft) make Xenoblade Chronicles X.(Shulk is a character  Super smash bros now)

Bayonetta 2 is the best H&S of this console generation, is possible a sequel? I believe
