Forums - Nintendo - Zelda Majora Mask or Ocarina of Time?

Which is better?

Ocarina of time 25 60.98%

Majora's Mask 16 39.02%

Total:41

With just 4 dungeons and huge balancing issues, MM is no real Zelda. MM fairy hunting is work instead of fun and if you skip it, you miss some important upgrades. This ruins the game for me.

Majora's Mask.

Majora's Mask possess me off. Why do I lose so many items at the end of the day? And it recycles so many assets. OoT for me.

OoT... By a mile

Majoras Mask had more depth, OOT more breadth. Majoras Mask has aged better than OOT because it is more unique of an experien. I prefer majoras mask.

Majora's Mask.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Ocarina of Time, which I feel is both the best Zelda game as well as the best game overall, of all-time.

Both remakes once again reaffirmed my feelings about these games once again. It has a way more epic feeling and much grander story. Majora's Mask wins in the details and the depth of it though, but I like the bigger scale of and bigger impact of OoT better. OoT easily wins in the more important aspects though, MM dungeons and bosses are mediocre while OoT's are amazing on average. There's exceptions both ways of course, but overall, Ocarina is a step above.

Majora's Mask is awesome though, and it's still my #4 favorite Zelda, only topped by Twilight Princess and Link's Awakening for me, besides Ocarina of Time of course. We'll see if Zelda U will have a shot at nesting itself amongst these unshakable games when it finally releases!

EDIT: Also OP, you're European, no need to use those sloppy American box-arts, ours looked way cooler .
