It did. Its legs aren't very impressive and I have to think that the numbers so far this year on VGC for it are very optimistic. 

But they do reveal the numbers, you just have to go digging for them.


PS2 sold 40 million after its successor launched. PS3 would be extremely lucky to even ship another 13.8 million in the next few years. This would seem plausible if Sony have it a price cut, but since the console an be found cheap in so many places they must now this wouldn't skyrocket sales.

153 million is definitely not that much considering the financial problems Sony has. At least they are making some money with it.

Actually it's pretty good it's a 5% profit margin and it's 153 million just for the quarter, all in all excellent results

This is going to increase nicely over the next few years. Ps plus will continue its massive growth and it's gonna be a software behemoth.

Good revenue, lousy margin. But as customer I can't complain since it means I paid a very good price. But they must keep driving cost down while keeping quality so margin and retail price gets better.
