Forums - Gaming - Could A Remaster Of The Uncharted Trilogy Replace Uncharted 4 This Year?

Sure, I think so. People say the Uncharted series is great, and having all 3 in one disk sounds like a great idea. People old and new can enjoy them.

I would guess so. With so many rumors about the remastered edition you'd have to believe there's a fire under all of this smoke, and that the market is really hungry for some Uncharted action. Bluepoint sounds like a good candidate for making it. Probably already working on it.

And you know what they say. You hate remastered games unless it's a game you really like. :/

The moment they announced uncharted 4 for holiday 2015, I thought they would follow up with an uncharted trilogy announcement to be released 6 months before, but they never did. It would be an easy money maker and a missed opportunity of they didn't.

It makes sense to outsource it and to delay uncharted 4 to early 2016. They can now potentially release the trilogy against tomb raider (3 uncharteds against 1 tomb raider), and pit uncharted against quantum break in early 2016. If they throw in a demo for uncharted 4, they will a killing from uncharted trilogy and ps4 sales.

I don't think we will see a GoW remaster on the PS4, as 1 and 2 didn't even hold up well on the Ps3.

that would be great, and the should include golden abyss, so they can fix all the stupid forced touch screen commands.
that final boss *shivers*

Already played through them again on PS Now on PS4 and Vita. I would rather Sony work on something else for the PS4, and just let PS Now handle older games. Anyone with a PS4 in the US can play both of the 1st 2 games for $12. PS Now should be out in many more regions by the end of this year.

Its actually a great idea. Something like 30% of PS4 owners were XB360 owners last gen. I for one did not play any Uncharted games so I would buy it and beat it in preparation for UC4 (I was planning on playing at least UC2 on my PS3 before I purchased UC4 anyways)

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

I hope so. I have all 3 and have played each multiple times, but I have been having an inkling to replay all of them again. Would rather play them again upgraded. Would definitely buy this.

Oh, and yeah, that's a fantastic idea to have a demo of Uncharted 4 exclusive to the Uncharted trilogy remaster. Would be brilliant. This would save at least a little face in light of this painful U4 delay.

I've never liked this excuse, since you could use it for any single game.

Oh, there's a game that PS4 owners who didn't have a PS3 didn't get to play? Might as well port over all of them. Heavenly Sword, Puppeteer, etc.

Enough with the god damn remasters. This is starting to piss me off. And don't get me wrong I'm a huuuge Uncharted fan.

A) The series is still going and a new game is due out any time now, I'd rather have the full on sequel than a remaster

B) For fuck sake Uncharted 3 is only what 3 1/2 years old? That's way too soon for a remaster. Yeah Uncharted might benefit since it's over 7 years old, and even Uncharted 2 could be updated....but god damn Uncharted 3's visuals still stand up to games coming out now, how much better could it be?

C) They're gonna charge $60 and make it sound like a deal since it's 3 games. But all they did was take 3 games that retail individually for $45 on Amazon right now as NEW (they're all about $15 give or take a few) or under $30 USED (Uncharted is literally a couple bucks on Amazon's used section), give em a spit shine, and raise the price by $15-20+ bucks.

The only re-master I do want right now is Call of Duty 4. And the main reason for that is not just giving it modern Call of Duty graphics, but because now it's unplayable now online due to hacking and glitching. I'd happily pay $40 or whatever for a spit shined CoD4 with a fresh set of servers.

Will be awesome, but the tetralogy will be better.
