Forums - Nintendo - Zelda vs Xenoblade

Which are you more hyped for?

Zelda U 157 59.47%

Xenoblade Chronicles X 107 40.53%

Total:264

So far I'm excited the most for Xenoblade Chronicles X, but once they show more about Zelda, things will probably change

Around the Network

1) Zelda - Something about the timeless tale of a hero who rises from nothing to save the world really speaks to me
2) Splatoon - Looks fresh and exciting. Easy to pick up and put down without feeling like I'm missing out on the exp.
3) Xenoblade - Sprawling open world, robust RPG combat, fantastic story... all great, but requires a time investment I don't always have to give.

“What I say is, a town isn't a town without a bookstore. It may call itself a town, but unless it's got a bookstore it knows it's not fooling a soul.”  - Neil Gaiman

Xenoblade by far. Both will keep me up 24/7 until they are 100%ed and while I love Zelda and can't wait, Xeno* just takes it to a level all of its own and will probably traumatize my soul again.

Then again I'm a huge sucker for desperation, tragedy, and the world is not what we thought end of days kinda stuff.

I just hope they are spaced apart enough so I don't burn all my vacation time at once.

The OMG moment in the original Xenogears is still the biggest moment in gaming for me.   Seriously never felt chilled and buzzed like that before, especially for a game.  That was hard hitting.  That moment when you remember the intro video that you wondered had to do with anything the majority of the game... /shiver

Xenoblade is being developed by the team that best knows how to handle balance and pacing in a large open world, this is going to be a first for Zelda. Although Monolithsoft is doubtlessly contributing to Zelda. It's impossible to say which will be the better game at this point, but I am throwing my chips in with Xenoblade Chronicles X because right now it looks like a far better game.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I'm also looking forward to the character customization in Xenoblade Chronicles X, I feel this will give players a level of connection with the character rather than been given a character that you dont necessarily like and are forced to play with, Shulk was awesome though.
