Unless Sony ceases production of Vita its not dead yet. As a fan of portable games with buttons, I'm glad Sony is keeping it semi alive.

Thanks to Japan the userbase should grow a few million more.

A sales spike thanks to God Eater 2 Rage Bursts. Would expect sales to drop back to whatever is considered normal for the vita soon.

No. The PSV is not doing good.

I still haven't fallen out of favor with it. Gaming on it is a big step up from my ubiquitous iOS devices and a step down from the PS4 and I don't see myself ever getting rid of mine, but... it's a small niche device and the sales fully reflect this.
