I want the age advance system to cover multiple eras all the way up to the modern age

Which of Microsoft's owned strategy franchises do you believe Decisive Games will be working on first? | |||
| Age of Empires | 7 | 70.00% | |
| Age of Mythology | 1 | 10.00% | |
| Halo Wars | 2 | 20.00% | |
| Rise of Nations | 0 | 0% | |
| Rise of Legends | 0 | 0% | |
| Other | 0 | 0% | |
| Total: | 10 | ||

Whatever ms is working on, I hope it's either an Age of Empires 4 or Halo Wars 2.
Either of those would make me very happy.
I hope so, there's also halo wars 2 more or less confirmed to be in development tho
I just want the same game. AOE already flirted with guns and AOE was full on gun warfare. As soon as guns come into play all my swordmen are suddenly useless.
Maybe they could do it Empire Earth style where you can choose the era from stone age to present day.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
Age of Mythology 2? :P
I'd love a new Halo Wars, that universe has so much unexplored potential. If it was a new Age of Empires, I'd want it to dump the more modern focus of AoE3 and go back to all the medieval empires stuff.
- Reboot the time period back to ancient times OR pull a Rise of Nations and cover all ages up to modern day
- If there's going to be a console version, don't simplify the user interface on the PC version. Don't forget the basics like keyboard shortcuts.
- Use Steam and Steam workshop for mods on PC (this is unlikely, but considering AoE2, AoM and RoN are all on Steam, it could happen!)
- Lots of civilizations (at least 10), with multiple unique units and techs.
- Make it so that terrain actually has a significant impact on combat (e.g. chariots suffer penalties in marsh, bonuses on higher elevation)
- Campaign mode with at least four separate civ campaigns and story (comparable in quality to the Starcraft 2 campaigns)
With lazors and robots :p
It would be nice to play all eras from pre-history to present/future era, like in Empire Earth.

And this.
Also, if possible, forget about polygons and use sprites like in AoE 1&2. Those games in HD look miles better than AoE 3.
Please excuse my bad English.
Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB
Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.
I want it to be:
- fairly priced
- more similar to Age of Empires II
- available for XP (not going to happen)
