That's the effect of cute visuals on me. they desensitize me emotionally.

I know exactly which part you're talking about. Riding those goats on the mountain. It really plays with one's emotions.
:P
This is not only a beautiful game, the gameplay is amazing, as a Metroid fan I´m crying of joy with this game. Is brilliant in every aspect: music, graphics, art-style ( looks like a film, a very good one), level design and gameplay, I love how really agile Ori feels. And the game is SOOO emotional, the first 10 minutes are almost as good as the first minutes of a good Pixar movie, so beauty, evocative and full of soul.... like the rest of the game.
A little Masterpiece.
I just need to give this game a try! It looks amazing.

As I relax in my room playing this on my gorgeous IPS panel with the music going through my headphones I say you're wrong sir.
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Man, you know, Goats!
Never ridden a goat, but I did ride a camel with my Niece and Big bro.

From what I've seen. Not at all. Only played an hour or 2 though. |
Thanks!

Not sure if its a happy game, but I felt happy while playing it. Brothers is something else entirely though.Ori is not as emotional, even in the beggining which I'd say is the most emotional part of the game. |
I thought brothers was going to be the cute charming little story where you pet the cat and kick the kickball. Which it is, but also has some unexpected turn.
I like it, but it was kind of like being slammed by a big wave of reality and reminders.
