Pretty funny shit but at least Minecraft is better than Candy Crush

Although, if my future child plays either of those, I would ground them for a week

Candy Crush is better.

You don't mess with a woman's Vita. That's just too far.

Official Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Thread

i have a cousin who is also addicted to this game and he cant stop playing even when all the family gets together to celebrate christmas or the new year, i have tried to understand that Minecraft has an appeal (which i can totally see) but its gotten so big that i just.. i cant understand why its so popular i mean i get the appeal of the game but i dont think the appeal is that BIG to become so incredibly popular, of course we all have different tastes and mine dont seem to line up with the majority but even then i try to understand and comprehend the popularity of this game, but when i read stuff like youre story i just cant...

im starting to think that this game got so popular, that now its own popularity is helping it become more popular... in other words: some kids may be playing it because its the "cool" and popular game to play.

The effect of fun? :|

I used to love Minecraft before it was mainstream, and guess what? I´m one of the few that still loves minecraft after becoming mainstream (I didn´t play it on more than a year, but still)

Lots of hate for a highly innovative game that make you able to be very creative, that´s fine for kids imo.

It´s the Lego of the S.XXI, but with its own world and physics rules. And Lego was a great toy.

Some good things become suddlenly bad things just because they get so popular, but that´s kind of unfair.

I have no opinion about this whatsoever except this: Minecraft domination!

Edit: I have a suggestion why don't you hide your Vita from your brother? In my case I put things in a lock box.

Proud to be a Californian.

I would have beat the bully up or at least bitch slapped him.   Better yet I wouldn't have touched the bully but gone to his parents and demanded money for him damaging the Vita.  That way his parents would give you the money and I'm sure his dad would have spanked the shit out of his son for costing him ~200.

My lil bro stole a damn cell phone from my uncle at Easter a couple years ago. Just nuts.

Technology has its pros n' cons. I feel bad for kids who don't play with action figures and legos in this day and age. I assume they just lack the imagination and creativity. Minecraft does require both but only to a certain extent!

The game isnt the problem, the problem is society.
Any game, hobby or pastime can become addicting, but in a schoolyard envirinment theres a peer pressure situation where youre not cool if you dont do the things everyone else does, and get singled out if you dont do it at all.
Ive seen kids bullied over the shoes they wear, over thier haircut, clothes, stationary, virtually anything.

And frankly, the school is at fault to for allowing kids to take ipads and iphones to school, and the parents are at fault for giving them these devices unmonitored to begin with.
