The Nintendo 3DS is the best selling handheld of the current generation and has outsold the Sony Playstation Vita by a massive ratio of five to one.  I'm curious to see how much farther they will push the gap.  Not since the 90s has one handheld dominated the way the 3DS has with a ratio of over ten to one with the Gameboy over the Sega Game Gear.  It's crazy to think we might see this disparity again.  Now that the New 3DS is on the market, it shouldn't be long before this ratio is six to one.  When do you expect that to occur?

I said by end of gen.

PSV will sell 12,500,000 for me, and 3DS 80,000,000.

Early-mid 2016, I think.

Will that even happen? 3DS has about 2 or so years left... Maybe it will. I say Holidays 2016.

As long as Nintendo doesn't create a new handheld before end of 2016, then I think it will reach that milestone at end of 2016.

I think there are at least two more years left in the 3DS.  It doesn't make sense that they issue an upgraded version only to come out with a new one so soon afterwards.
