I mean Nintendo have the big franchises on handheld to sell units drawing in any 3rd parties who realise that the industry can no longer really support 2 handhelds successfully, hell we are struggling to have 1 sell well. And the PS4 has been out for a year selling western games to the Japanese. I would be more surprised if Nintendo couldnt hold every spot this early into PS4's life.

Nintendo seems very dominant in japan, even the Wii U has some titles in that list. I wonder how much Xenoblade Chronicles X is gonna sell in japan!

Don't know in what direction they want to make dragon quest 11, but a new ps4 version could have good chance

Main Final Fantasy games tend to sell more than 1.5 million in Japan on it's first week. Seeing as how FFXV has been very awaited in Japan, selling more than 1.5 million would be very easy. That said, even if it does end up selling 1.5m+ it'll probably only sell up to 1.8- near 2m lifetime or if the game ends up really good and successful a bit upwards 2 million - 2.5 million.

That said it's either Pokemon or Monster Hunter.

FF XV will probabily sell just little more than 1,000,000 first week.

The other Final Fantasy was released on console with a huge userbase, the PS4 will become the worst selling PlayStation ever in Japan.

So yeah, even the software will sell less than in the other PlayStation.

Final Fantasy XIII sold 1,800,000 in Japan LT... No way for FF XV sell more.

It will have a chance specially if it's at the very least a good FF game. The Ps4 isn't selling that much because big exclusive games haven't arrived on the console yet and Final Fantasy will be just one of the many that will help on that tremendously.  FF13 pushed Ps3 sales upwards 200k(In Japan) in its release and had it stay above 100k for 2 more weeks. Besides it's not like the game will be released this year. There are many more chances the Ps4 will get huge games that will boost sales up until the eventual release of FFXV.

Neither. XY will be the best seling pokemon, its figures are around 4.6mil and wont surpass 4.8mil lifetime. Gen 7 wont beat that. AC is already over 4.7mil and it might have already passed 4.8mil. Its also still charting in weekly sales^

FFXV wont sell close to any of these. (People calm down and re read this to underestand!)
