Forums - Sony - Will Sony have another AAA exclusive other than Uncharted 4 this holiday?

bananaking21 said:

well MS has Forza 6, Tomb Raider and Halo 5 as AAA exclusives this holiday, while fableFable Legends is also releasing as a F2P game. Sony so far has Uncharted on the AAA front for the holidays. Sony certainly doesnt have a shortage of exclusives, Tearaway and Until Dawn are releasing in the summer. Bloodborne, The Order and MLB will be all out before the end of the month. and there are other mid-range indie games releasing accross the year.

will ratchet and clank go along uncharted this holiday? or will sony announce something big to along with them?

fixed.

yeah just saw it. if QB releases early next year it would be almost 3 years between announcement and release. talk about announcing a game way too early

I see a lot of people saying we might get GT7 this year, I honestly really doubt that. I think at the earliest we'll see it around the project morpheus launch.

Yeah, I think we're more likely to get Driveclub: Complete around Christmas.

Yeah  I laugh at the people acting like MS has more exclusives this year.  Not even close.

Its because when people compare both Sony's and MS's holiday line ups it makes it seem MS has the most exclusives for the year but not even, MS isn't even releasing one big exclusive title until Holiday 2015 but Sony will have Order, Bloodborne, Until Dawn, and Tearaway. I like prefer that Sony releases throughout the year and not just during the Holidays.

Well yeah of course.  I kinda sucks when 3 great games come out in the same month.  One or two of them never get as much attention as they would have if they had a month or two to themselves.

let's be honest here,.  when it comes to AAA titles 2-3 years between announcement to release isn't uncommon.  it's a refreshing surprise really when games like LPB3, bloodborne get announced and then we find out it releases within a year.

it would be nice if all games got announced within a year of release but that's just not how things are.

2007 PS3: Uncharted and Ratchet 4
2015 PS4: Uncharted 4 and Ratchet 1

2015 does feel like the new 2007.

There's no shortage on exclusives this year:

1. From Sony Until Dawn, Tomorrow Children and Rime are probably Q3 late summer (august/sept) then followed by Ratchet in Oct and Uncharted 4 in Nov. Potentially No Man's Sky if it comes out this year.

2. Stuff from Japan like DQ Heroes, Persona 5, Disgeaea, J-Stars Victory with likely a lot more localizations as Japanese pubs see the glorious PS4 light.

3. Console exclusives like SOMA, Talos Principle, Dreamfall Chapters etc

4. Lastly, expecting some surprise announcements from Sony at E3 for the holidays. There's also going to be an exclusive planned for feb/march 2016 like Sony usually have just after the holidays. Probably more considering Morpheus is coming out early 2016.

Add in the multiplats like MGS5(which almost everyone will buy on PS4 anyway) and no one can really complain with all the games coming out in 2015, it's the best in a long time.

it isnt uncommon, but almost 3 years is longer than most games. for me the ideal length is a year, give or take.

Hopefully, and highly likely as well. I can also imagine a collection release (uncharted?) of sorts might get announced to fill in a gap in the months leading up to christmas.

Price cut and uncharted 4 is all you need man...
Im serious itll outsell halo 5/tombraider/forza 6 and xbox one worldwide easily with that duo

Worldwide doesn't count on this site during holidays except when you also outsell your competitors in Murica. Even without the pricecut Europe will guarantee holiday worldwide security, since we love Sony.
