Forums - Sony - Will Sony have another AAA exclusive other than Uncharted 4 this holiday?

Sony already has a ton of games coming out this year what they need to do is ADVERTISE them, heck a lot of users here who have been trying to name all the exclusives coming out this year still missed a couple of games that are coming out this month and in Q3 im talking about:

Omega Quintet

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II

and yes i understand this are niche games, but they are good games and they deserve some time in the spotlight, plus it will help people realize how many actual exclusives Sony has for the year.

Ratchet & Clank was supposed to be realeased with the movie, which should be realeased on first half of the year, but IMO looks like a weird release as there seems to be no advertising for it! :S

 

As for a Holiday exclusive release, only one that seems to be confirmed is Uncharted 4, thank god SONY doesn't depend only in itself for the holidays as most of the 3rd party games also tend to be released by those months, and it becomes so competitive that one of their games could have been forggeten...

 

I prefer to see their games being release all spread during the year as we have time to play each of them!

Yeah, I did. They still have Bloodborne, MLB, Until Dawn, Tearaway Unfolded, Persona, Disgaea 5, Dragon Quest, Uncharted, Ratchet. 

I didn't know Persona 5 was a PS4 exclusive.

And the other games aren't really AAA exclusives besides Uncharted. Not a single MLB or Disgaea game has ever sold more than a million.

Until Dawn is AAA now? Lo! What has the developer of that game ever made of note?

Persona 5 is only coming to the PS3 and PS4. 

Rachet and Clank isn't AAA? Neither is Bloodborne? AAA is a measure of production value, not of the notoriety of the developer...

The AAA status has more to do with production value than sales. There have been AAA games that have sold really badly. Thus, most of the games Ali listed are AAA. The only one I consider not AAA is Disgaea 5, though it is still a notable franchise.

AAA is (or at least suppose to be) a measure of development budget.  some people like to confuse the issue by looking at things like metacritic or whatever but that isn't what AAA really means.  destiny is AAA regardless of if you think the game is good or bad,.. the game cost a lot of money to make due to a large dev team and years of production and that is what distinquished it from things like transistor that have smaller teams and smaller dev cycles.

until dawn is a AAA title regardless of who good/bad the game plays. remember, until dawn was announced in 2012 so it has been in production for like 5 years now.
