Well, hopefully U4 will release this holiday, there has been some rumors that it might not make it since ND's main priority is that the game is at its best when it finally releases. If it does release in time, Sony will have a good, but not amazing, holiday.

Worldwide it will be #1 by far and a price cut will make it have huge holiday...If ps4 only hasa  good holiday then the rest of consoles will be bad then? People dont buy consoles for just 2-3 exclusives a year.

For a market leader, their holiday will be good but not amazing. They will not come close to PS2/Wii levels but they will easily outsell X1/WiiU. X1 will likely have a great holiday considering its lineup, but it wont be enough to threaten PS4. WiiU...well, I will likely buy one at least :).

BS, it is already way above ps2 and close to wii, and it wont lose its legs like wii did. PS4 is still 399, when it hits mas market price it will sell a tonne. It wont pass ps2, but it will wii before it is said and done. Not sure what your comment about wii-u has to do with anything.

Lineup had little to do with x1 holiday.... they were giving big bundlews and discounts for 2 months....a price cut for PS4 will be huge, MS wont have the luxury of the same strategy, nor is it a winning strategy, it is a sohrt term solution to a long term issue.

Personally I am happy with Sony's strategy of spreading everything across the year.

Xmas will have some massive 3rd party games coming out, do I have the cash to buy all of those that I want and lots of exclusives... no. So spreading them out through-out the year, give me 1 or 2 major exclusives at xmas is the best policy.

Not having any games until Xmas and then boasting that their lineup is the best at xmas compared to their competitors is a poor way of supporting a console imho.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Persona, Hellblade, R&C, Hot Shots Golf & DQ Heroes will most likely be releasing around the holidays. These are all retail titles so don't mistake em for those dreaded indies! I also see a possible Resistance and/ or GT announcement, if all goes well then The Last Guardian will finally release too.

Exactly, putting all your exclusives against the big fall third party games is dumb , some will get drowned out (Sunset), if rather them to be spread throughout thew year. MS strategy is too much like the console, too focused on the US and holidays. They have a better chance of doing well not going against COD, Creed, and other big fall games.

Oh crap, how could I have forgotten Hellblade? I mean yeah, it is only a timed exclusive, but it's the spiritual successor to Heavenly Sword.

Maybe last guardian?

Where can I buy what you're smoking?

Last guardian doesnt need much effort now as it has ps3 graphics, i think its very likley. There was something wrong internally in the studio not with the game.

no, just no, the entire reason it was put on hold was it had to be redone, and they did that for ps4......it wont have ps3 graphics. The game was too ambitious for ps3.

The way it was announced (along with R&C) made it lost upon the conference.

No, there was something wrong in the studio. Sony japan worked on 300 different projects at the time. Now there is some order there, meaning progress should be done very fast now. I say in december it could be possible
