Not only this gen, but even in the future?

Perhaps a new Xbox console releasing earlier than it's competitor or when Sony screws up like Nintendo, but not for a while and definitely not this gen the two titans have to much rivalries to outperform the other so badly.

That seems like a difficult feat but I wont rule anything out.

Yes. Sales are shifting towards black friday more (and holidays in general) so holiday boosts and BF boosts will be bigger this gen.
