House of Cards is an American political drama that is an adaptation of the BBC's mini-series of the same name and is based on the novel by Michael Dobbs. House of Cards is the story of Majority House Whip Frank Underwood, who after being passed over for appointment as Secretary of State, initiates an elaborate plan to exact his vengeance on those he feels wronged him - that is, his own cabinet members including the President of the United States himself. Dashing, cunning, methodical, and vicious, Frank Underwood along with his equally manipulative yet ambitious wife, Claire, take Washington by storm through climbing the hierarchical ladder to power.

Season 3 just premiered a week ago and for the past few days I've been binge-watching the entire thing...what a show! Kevin spacey and robin weight are brilliant together. Just wish we didn't have to wait a whole year for another season now.

Oh yeah, and it has 9.1 on imdb..second only to breaking bad and game of thrones when it comes to quality tv series' and I think it might even be better than the two.

Any fellow house of cards fans on the chartz?

Around the Network

Yep, marathoned S3 when it came out, was actually hoping this would be the last season, if only because I don't want to see this show become a shallow representation of itself.

As much as I like Spacey's performance, neither of my Underwoods are my favourite. Out of who remains, Remy and Doug are my favourites, in the history of the show it's got to be Russo, though.

Also quite enjoy that FBI rat guy, think that's a fantastic character (as well as his boss, although we don't see much of him).

Meechum and the book author can fuck right off, though. Two extremely piss-annoying characters.

I was kinda hoping this would be the last season too cos I thought it would end where he wins the 2016 presidential election, but now that I know it doesn't I think there's probably another good season atleast..he still has pretty much the entire 2016 election campaign ahead so that'll make season 4 decent enough anyway.

The show is called "House of Cards", I don't want to upset... but I very much doubt that the show is going to end in a positive for Frank. My guess is he will end up in prison by the end of the show, or some kind of suicide as it all comes crumbling down and he realises that he will have no legacy.
