Forums - Gaming - Wii U indie games announced - A massive List

Nice to see Wii U is getting some love from Indies ; ) Some of these look like titles from other consoles, but that's alright. I'll need to look into some of these more. Though why is Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars listed in there...? Is that being made by an indie team..? o_O

I also found the M v DK one an odd ball item.

I think Affordable Space Adventures is going to be very good.

Is only for WiiU, a nice little exclusive.

That looks suspiciously Similar to the 50% of the Vita's game library that isn't JRPG's.

Yeah, many indie devs diversify their releases to nearly every platform under the sun.

I'm wondering if S&S2 will have online or local dual screen multiplayer. I have the first one on Wii U and it's really fun, but would be 12 times better playing against someone on the TV while I face the other way on the gamepad.

What? I played the first one on Wii, I assumed the WiiU version would have that dual screen multiplayer.

From NintendoLife: "While the game has made the jump to Wii U in much the same shape as its original release, some features from ports in-between have unfortunately not made the cut — while there is multiplayer, it's offline only, so you cannot literally try to conquer the world. One key bonus point of that local multiplayer, however, is that you can each have a full screen, with one focused on the GamePad and the other using a Wii Remote and the TV."

This article has the itterations mixed up. 1) These is S&S1 on the Wii. 2) There is S&S1 on the Wii U. This is what I own and it's single player  or is it? Wait it is, but player 2 has to use a wiimote which doesn't suit me. 3) there is s&s 2 on the Wii U which you have confirmed as having what i wanted. I read this pre coffee, so excuse my goofiness. Having read into it now, S&S1 also had the dual screen on the Wii U, but I just don't use it as it requires using the wiimote, which would be too slow compared to player 1 on the gamepad.
