Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo Gaming Smartphone Survey (made up for my marketing class)

Have to admit im not sure if this is the right forum to be asking people. Youll get both extremes here, either get diehard Nintendo fans or people who just want them to go third party. Are you getting non-gamers and members of the general public to do this survey as well?

You might be right, but I'm not sure which one to put it in then.  Yes, we are giving it to many other people as well.  I thought it would be helpful to see if actual video game fans would want it.

Playing Xenoblade 2 before I buy Xenoblade 3 (otherwise I couldn't wait to play 3).

Can they announce a new Fire Emblem? A remake of Genealogy or Tellius would suffice !

Question 8 is missing an important option: Physical Buttons.

True.  I guess we were thinking it was a given.

Ahh, OK, that's good.  I just start getting uncomfortable thinking about a Nintendo smartphone replacing the 3DS.  I've been a Nintendo fan since the NES, but if they made a device that was like a typical smartphone which relies on a virtual gamepad, I would have to draw the line.  I don't really see them doing that, though.

You really should add "Male/Female" in the survey; that'll give you an indication which demographic will be more likely to buy this product.

A GOOD Nintendo smartphone with Nintendo games that actually plays well? Yeah, I'd fucking buy that shit! If the quality of the phone were the same/almost the same as a Samsung/Sony/Apple phone, but with the added Nintendo games, that would be a serious contender for my next phone purchase! Something similar to Xperia Play or something like that...

Really, in order for something like this to get a purchase from me, it needs to be designed around gaming first and foremost, especially under the premise of replacing the 3DS.  The smartphone features are of secondary importance.
