A $50 price cut plus putting in a 1TB HDD would probably be exactly the right thing to do. I bet Sony can source 1TB HDDs for almost the same price as 500GB HDDs. But doubling the HDD at the same time as cutting the price adds a great deal of perceived value.

It looks like the PS4 actually outsold the XB1 by about a 3:1 ration in Jan/Feb, instead of the 2:1 ratio using current charts.

Not sure what Microsoft's next move will be.
