I haven't twisted facts. Everything you bolded are theories and theoretical. There iis so much we don't know that almost anything could have happened. Except. The engine change, that's factual, as far as recent depends on your perception. Of course my mind is made of up of what think. It's. Called my opinion lol. |
How you describe things and how they happened from what has been officially revealed to us are very different things. As you said yourself, these are all things that "could" have happened, problem is that jot only are you stating slightly exaggerated theories as fact you are conveniently ignoring the facts actually released.

And you think FFt0 is more like classical FF??? Wow... its also made by Tab at a, who is also responsible for crisis core, if you know how he tackles gamplay, then you will know type 0 won't be anything like FF of old.

Dude you are reading too much into it. Read what I wrote again, notice how it was written. Don't take stuff out of context. If you are going to quote, quote the whole sentence or statment to keep it in context.
1. what was written was "How many times has it went into development then been scrapped in that time?" That's an open ended question that we don't know the answer to. Maybe 10, maybe none. Who knows.
2. I was speaking of more than just the leads, although I was thinking it was more than just two, but that's still two different people with two different views of the game and whether it's two people or 10 it could make very little difference if their visions are quite varied. I was meaning more people from the teams, not just the leads. Refer to the wikipedia page under development for a rough idea of what I mean. It's not exactly like it has been focused development from the get go.
3. I'm not panicking at all, just stating a potential route that might have happened. Since they did change the engine much of it would have to be recoded and with that, among the different possabilities of the engines pros and cons wise, plus being moved to a different platform which has only been out for just over a year and we don't fully know how long the SDK's have been available for it. It is very possible that they started from scratch with that transition.
I was speaking of linearity, which I mentioned with the context of Type-0 being more like older FF games.
BTW, the part about my mind being made up wasn't directed to you, it was meant to be a reply to another poster but I was having issues with my phone, it really doesn't like this site lol.
Try not to get so caught up with this. Much of what I said is hypothetical and it's just a quick question about what people think will be better, or critically acclaimed (but I forgot to put that part). We just have differing opinions about it, relax.
Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
Depends if Type Zero is also a yaoi road trip.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I very much enjoy your replies :D

XV is an ambitious project, trying to expand the horizon of the franchise without abandoning its roots.
Type-0 on the other hand has fragmented storytelling that unfolds by selection of quests, explained by text, not by progressing through the world to get a sense of it. The amount of enemies on the screen seems to be lacking, the behavior of the camera during battle is confusing at times. Flat environments. Below average animations for the characters.. And many more of those small things. Many things that I appreciate about FF just don't seem to be there.
