Forums - Gaming - For those who don't trade in your games.

I trade in games, and I still have around 200 games. I don't trade in that many though, only ones I don't like or feel no need to have in a collection. As to why I keep most of them, I just like having a large collection. There's always a small chance I'll replay some of them and since I liked them, why not keep them?

I've only traded in games when i was younger, but haven't in the past 12ish years. I have well over 200 games.

I can't be bothered and I'm not short on money, so I don't see the point in selling my games.

Same goes for me as well.

Well, trading in your games and selling them are two whole different stories. Most game stores barely give you 1/4 of the price of games nowadays, but sellingthem on eBay or something you can get what they are actually worth. But I rarely sell my games, unless I just flat out hated it, never play it EVER, or just really need money. I have around 120 games to date, yet I still find some time to revisit all them, even if it is just for 10 minutes. My games mean a lot to me, like memories of my past.

^ Absolutely this. Having a small collection of all the big hitters is awesome and as stated, you never know for sure whether you don't want to replay a game.

Last time I checked I had around 180 retail games, may very well be close to 200 by now.

I've got around 200. They look nice on my shelf :)

700+. I do sell games though. I keep them only if they're games that I liked and there's a possibility that I'll play them again.

I have about 1280ish games ranging from the Nes all the way up to the Wii U but i am an collector and have been for years so of course mine is gonna be alot higher then the average gamer. Most the time i'll wait on games to drop to dirt cheap too so i can buy more of them in bulk or i'll check out Goodwills, yard sales, flea markets and pawn shops trying to find games for cheap. I am hoping to hit 1500 by years end!

I only recently stopped trading in/selling my games, so I am probably only at 30-50 physical games.
