I hate to be a downer, but I'm expecting this to be something really meh, like that Ubisoft "Friends" game.

Do you realize how wrong all of that sounds? Then why aren't all games from all franchises exclusive? Of course there's KH audience on wii u, more than on x1. |
What are you talking about?
Because I'm talking about the current allegiance of the Kingdom Hearts fanbase. I'm not talking about a potential new audience.

I'm not talking about a new audience either. there wasn't a kingdom hearts for home consoles in over 10 years and, in the meantime, the audience was divided/created on sony and nintendo handhelds.

Exactly...
The existing Kingdom Hearts fans aren't Wii U only owners.

Is a small developer who has some minor IPs and also has work on great ports for the Wii U, Mass Effect 3 and Deus Ex to be precise, so people are hopeful that this new port is also good. They have a good track record of working with the Unreal Engine and using the gamepad, sadly their ports tend to sell very poorly for publishing decisions, like selleing the full trilogy for the full price 1 week before of the ME3 game for the WiiU or also releasing the director's cut in the other console for 20 U$ less at the same time.
Guitar hero could fit, but i'm not sure that would be a bigger game than deus ex or mass effect, altough consider them making possible to play with the game pad, and maybe we have sometinhg taht will demand a lot of work.
Next, we could say lara croft and the temple of osiris, but another case where we could hardly call big.
Another guess could be final fantasy: a realm reborn, altough would be a pretty niche market on a alreadly niche console, but fits.
But my real guess was the sims 4. Problably the only game that ea could see selling something on the console, would fit the gamepad, the low requeriment on pc probably mean a low cost on porting, but would take some work to make the controls work well on the gamepad, and i'm not sure if EA would paya studio to work on the port now for more than 1 year, but, hey, probably we will find out at E3.
"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."
