Forums - Gaming - EA Access Grants Members To BFH Five Days Early, Fans Flip Out Over EA XB Deal

People paying for a demo and don't even realize it.

People paying for the games you currently get in the Vault, *reads your name, nvm I see now*

And of course there's a limit to the campaign, BFH's story will probably be able to be beaten in 4 hours, so it makes no sense to give full acess to it.

It's decent in a way but when you are already paying for ps plus it makes far less sense. Especally when plus is the greatest gaming sub service on the market. The real money saver for non usa residents is setting up a us psn. I save 20 quid a game with that lol.

Well Sony didn't want to offer EA access so people should be angry with Sony, not MS or EA.

No, it's EA's fault for not making a better value proposition to Sony.

What do you mean by "better value proposition"? For half the price of a new game you get access to like 8 games for a year, and the number of games will only grow throughout the generation since EA doesn't plan to remove any games from EA Access, plus you get a 10% discount on all applicable EA games and DLC's and early access to every new EA game. That's not a bad value at all imo. EA does still need to make a profit off the service afterall, putting games on EA Access does hurt their lifetime sales somewhat.

Obviously not enough value for the high standards of Playstation owners. Or do you imply that Sony lied for money?

EA putting money before it's costumers? What a big surprise...

Or maybe putting their most loyal customers before their less loyal customers? Yeah, what a terrible practice. Nobody other than EA would ever do that.

I'm sorry but that is just a flimsy excuse that Sony gave. What gives Sony the right to decide for all Playstation fans that EA Access isn't worth it? Why not let Playstation fans decide for themselves rather or not EA Access is worth it to them? I don't feel like Sony should be deciding for consumers what is and isn't worth it. Let consumers speak with their own wallets.

So Sony lied for their own gain? Playstation fans should be furious about this.

I guess EA Access must be worth it now to some PS fans since they're crying about 10 hours of playtime for Xbox One owners.

Fans can be moron, blame Sony for not having EA Access on PS4, don't blame EA.

Oh man some people have a short memory did they forget that EA Access doesn't have good value for consumers

Whats stupid is some will pay 5$ and subscribe for that month to play earlier.

What's stupid about that?

Paying to play 10 hours of gameplay 5 days earlier is a smart move now? Didn't get that memo.

Yes, it gives you more things for that month, but sub just for that is kind of stupid imo and is falling into their "trap".

Actually, if you're going to buy Battlefield Hardline anyway, it's stupid NOT to sign up for the month. Not only do you get the game early, but it's $5 for the month and that 10% discount on EA games knocks $6 off of Hardline when you buy it. So you're actually losing money if you don't do this deal. Again, if you're buying Hardline.

Anyways, those comments are sad to see because they are so uninformed. Anger should be directed at Sony, they are the ones scared of competition on PSN.

The 10% discount is enabled for all ea titles even in the launch day? I got the idea from ea site that this discount is for selected titles. Maybe i read that wrong. If thats the case.case, there is also room for smartness in that move.
