If it was just one week above 20K, i would not say anything, but now its consistently selling better than wiiu since the new year, so its hard to belive that will now sell well now that there are games for japanese audience coming, like final fantasy and dragon quest. Meanwhile, kirby did noting for the wiiu hardware, so its ahrd to belive taht mario party ou mario vs DK will do. I'm pretty sure that the heavy hitters for wiiu are alreadly out, so i doubt that they will start to sell better than ps4 for now on. |
Ps4 got a stream of releases and is about to get dragon quest heroes.
kirby didn't sell much (for comparison, the 3 releases ps4 got this week already outsold kirby's ltd). Mario party and xenoblade have much better chances of boosting it.
So, PS4 has come to life in Japan! We can expect it to be the top selling system next week (I estimate close to 40k)
The real question is of course how well it will hold over the weeks following DQ release.
Good week for Vita but I'm afraid next weeks number will be a somewhat disapointing again.
Wii U bad as usual. I hope Mario Party 10 can breathe some life into it in a few weeks time.

Bad week? It had Majora's Mask last week and this week still has some legs thanks to the game. ^^
