Actually it looks like those are the ONLY games I will buy for the full year (not counting Kirby and The Rainbow Curse which it was already purchased)

Also, no you do not have to play the first game to understand. Think of it like Final Fantasy. They all have the same name but never (only on rare occasions) have anything to do with each other. The only thing about playing Xenoblade Chronicles before X is that you will understand how the game battle system and etc works. That way you will be more familiar with the series. :D

Also, no you do not have to play the first game to understand. Think of it like Final Fantasy. They all have the same name but never (only on rare occasions) have anything to do with each other. The only thing about playing Xenoblade Chronicles before X is that you will understand how the game battle system and etc works. That way you will be more familiar with the series. :D

We already have Mario Kart, Mario World 3D, and Bayonetta, and my wife is going crazy on getting games for the kids.  I mainly play on my PS4, but I wanted a Wii U for bayonetta and Xenoblade, and maybe a few others, so I'm pretty happy.  :)

Your wife might like Kirby and The Rainbow Curse cause you'd be able to play it all together and from what I have heard, the multiplayer on Rainbow Curse is very good. Captain Toad would also be fantastic for the kids, no joke. That one is fun all around. Haha

I don't believe there are those kinds of games. The only ones I can think of that would be the most kid friendly is Captain Toad which I already stated. Since it involves you figuring out puzzles, you could do it together (it would be a good bonding time lol) and once your kid gives up (since there is no time limit) you could show them or suggest ideas on how to procede.

Well, if there wouldn't be so many awesome games this year, Splatoon would most certainly be in my Top 3, too.
But since my favorite games consist of Xenoblade Chronicles, Zelda: The Wind Waker and the Fire Emblem games, my top 3 are obvious ^^
I'm also really looking forward to Devil's Third, the Multiplayer-trailer got me interested.

True. But it is still happening. It was confirmed like 3 weeks ago or something like that. Cause it was in the "future release schedule of 2015 list" but was listed as TBD.

Well I do remember that, but the TBD made me really worried when combined with what I have heard, which is that the teams from intelligent systems and atlus are fighting and the only reason it hasn't been canceled was Nintendo still has faith in the potential. If this keeps up though, I don't see that faith lasting forever. My bet is we either see it at E3 in some form or we hear of it being canceled sometime later this year.
