Forums - Nintendo - Itagaki Says To Use The Wii U Pro Controller With Devil’s Third

Sure! The Pro Controller is basically a Xbox controller anyway!

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

I use the gamepad when playing NG, Bayonetta and W101 despite having a Pro Controller, the former just feels more natural once you've gotten used to it, when I use other controllers it now feels a bit odd they feel small.

This. Maybe it's that I have big hands, but mot standard dual analogue controllers feel uncomfortably small to me.

Agreed! Specially since the pro controller has a 80 hour battery

Both controllers have the exact same layout. So it just depends on what controller you prefer. Neither are better than the other when you don't count opinion.

I've never personally minded using the Gamepad though I guess it would make sense to play with a controller similar to ones used in other shooter games.

Also you can play as a ninja cat in this game?  And there's rainbow chickens?

I want it now...

Well, I used it for Bayonetta and Hyrule Warriors, so I will certainly use it here. The Pro Controller is perfect for action games.
