That's one dead seal.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

What's Condemned 2?

I know that Amazon ranking is no good for any hard estimate, but if you just wanna know if the title is doing good, bad, or ugly, this can be useful. And Condemned 2 is doing as ugly as it gets.

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III

Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII

Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger

Nop. If you want to know if a title is doing good, you just wait for sales.

The only relevant question is this was it supposed to do well. Given that the first installment did not sell over half a million copies, and this was early in the generation. Why would we expect the sequel to have greater sales. Especially considering the competition.

What I do feel disappointed about is the supposed differential between the PS3 and 360 sales figures. I would have thought the sales would appear stronger on the PS3 given the distinct lack of games. Haze is still some time off, and there doesn't seem to be any major titles in the immediate future so it should be seeing some serious action. The age old mantra of beggars not being choosers. The PS3 owners should be famished. The holiday glut is over three months behind us. Unlike the 360 which has had a couple notable releases recently.

For all the griping about how unreliable Amazon is they are supplying real numbers rather then mere predictions. This site isn't going to provide guidance until after something has happened. Which might be something that could be rectified better then Amazon which may or may not have the best price, and thus might skew the results.

We should have something like a hype meter give members ten choices and let them allocate points. That might be a good metric for demand over the coming month.

... I think you just contradicted yourself in one sentence ...

Condemned 1 did 80,000 first week @ the x360s huge launch, and only 300k at the end.

C2 will do much better, I guarentee it. C1 has a cult following, and many of thos 300k are going to buy C2, as well as the thousands that played it as a rental.

My guess is 90,000-125,000 first week between both consoles.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
