Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wired Fight Pad Question - Wii U

Hallo!!!

I was curious if anyone here had a wired fight pad. If you do, what do you think of it?! I see some amazing reviews of it and some very poor ones, so I thought I'd ask youse guys about it, because I think you'll give me a more accurate review.

Tanks in advance,

ohmy

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

I'll try one more time. Maybe no one has one!

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I never heard of a wired fight pad for Wii U. I heard of a fight stick for Wii. The Tatsunoku vs Capcom stick is supposed to be good quality. Maybe the old WWE2k games use it?

Either way they are probably the same guts as a 360 fight pad and while the pad is a little spongy, it is pretty good.

I guess they just aren't very popular. Here's a link to an image of it though:

I just don't like the regular classic controller because of the joysticks being aligned at the bottom, so I thought this might be a good option to play virtual console games with.

I guess that is the Wii U compatible Gamecube controller that supposedly is very popular with Smash Bros. I do not have one myself but I have the old original GC controllers and they are great.
You will need an adapter too...

You also have the Nintendo Pro Controller - Wii U. The Wii U Pro Controller can be used for playing a variety of games - from packaged games at retail to downloadable games from the Nintendo eShop. Not compatible with the Wii system or games.

Buy a PS2/PS3/360 fight pad, and an old wii pro controller thats seen better days and make your own fight pad by rewiring.

I actually have both of those. I was talking about this controller:

I'm mainly asking so that I can use it for virtual console games. Unfortunately, neither the gamecube controller nor the pro controller are able to be used for virtual console games.

That one is supposed to work just like the Classic Controller/CC Pro last I heard. It actually connects to the Wiimote.
